It is just heartbreaking watching this animatic of how close Mushnik and Seymour could have been like adopted father and son. It makes me wonder if Seymour didn’t take down a darker path if he had someone to rely on like Mushnik.

This is fuckim stellar man. I love the lip syncing that’s so hard to pull off. I also love the real love you showed between mushnik and Seymour. I mean the man did end up fully adopting him and it was obvious how much that meant to Seymour in the stage show. They did mushnik pretty dirty in the movie ngl keeping mushnik and son in would have added so much to the Faustian narrative that’s so well portrayed on stage
