New Beach for Skimboarding!? A Day in The Life of Two Pro Skimboarders

Were we the first ever to Skim through this Cave? One of the most beautiful beaches in Southern California had a perfect sand set up for skimboarding. Sam Stinnett and Blair Conklin slide around on some of their favorite beaches on the planet. It was both of our first times being able to walk through this cave entirely filled with sand. Most of the time it can be really dangerous getting through this cave because it is filled with water and rocks a majority of the time. A day in the life of a Skimboarder is not too shabby this time of year.

Like the new logo. Watching your videos reminds me of my young days hanging out & surfing all day. In the early '70's we rode 10 speed ( derailleur/road racing) bikes, 7 miles to the beach at day break, with our boards tucked under our arms & back packs loaded for the day. If the tide went low & no waves, we'd pull the fins off our boards & try to skimboard like ya'll do now. Lots of fun.......sucked riding back home that 7 miles at dark after a long day. Makes me smile thinking of those times. Bad lungs now. can't go out anymore. Well, enjoy the water, I did.

Laguna's secret cove ;) Swim around Table Rock to get here, or walk down thousand steps and make a right... and keeeppp walking ;) My favorite cove to swim and meditate at.... was just there today - Laguna for life

ok mr Blair Conklin, I'm now sure you are clearly one of the most talented nicest guys I follow, (and stoked for you that your girlfriend seems super cool and supportive too. ) I've surfed for a long time, and am not the demographic that would start to skim, but you've inspired enough to assist in making a fool of myself trying. Thanks mate , I'm not aware of anyone skimming regular on the Tweed coast???, but I'm seeing all manner of wedges and refractions everywhere. Wish me luck. Yeouw
