Well this was fun! I finally geared up and busted the Elans out for the 2024 snowmobiling season. It goes..... great. Thanks for watching!

Small primer bulb on the fuel line helps so you don't have to blow into the tank, I hate doing that! With a properly working Tilly, I only have to use it first start after sitting all summer. Also much easier than carrying around the spray bottle with mix gas. Love the video! I start my 72 250 single at 10 below last weekend and went for a 2 hour rip!

Awesome! Keep it up dude! I’m currently waiting on some parts for my elan I call “ Frankie” I’ve recently been workin on putting a 340 twin out of a 73 skidoo tnt, plus the aluminum Chaincase with removeable front cover. Just need the upper chain case seal, brake line and a carb kit.

We're finally getting some snow over here in B.C. I might do a video on getting my four going. 3 singles and a 300SS. I had seven for a few years, it got to be a bit much, lol. Remember, "it's not snowmobeelin till yer coat smells like gas". Louis over at PowerMods. Have you seen the KZfaq video "Tribute to the Ski-Doo Elan"?

This year me and a friend picked up a elan 250 not sure the year and it runs great, but we have a mikuni on it and no choke or primer so it's a 400 pull machine, the spray bottle does wonders lol

Low idle on my machines is right around 3/4 to 1 turn out. depending on which machine! I always start at 3/4 turns out. I will do a video on the "Snow Caps" soon! Thanks for the interest!
