i had been avoiding playing mercy as my main for a long time (because I didn't want to deal with being yelled at) and was stuck in bronze. your videos convinced me to try playing mercy and i am now slowly climbing and am currently silver 2. I was only bronze 3 three days ago. I watched a few of your guides for mercy and got a little practice and something just clicked for me, mercy just felt right to play, it felt like the character I was meant to play, and then the game became fun to play. i started enjoying the game again. i know you probably wont see this comment but thank you.

This is really intresting, looking at how you play vs me makes me realise how much I need to stop trying to res everything and getting myself killed

I only watched a few games but in Gold 3 | Lijiang Tower | L when you said "stop pushing in so far" I felt that, my teammates win one fight and wanna push enemy spawn or tiny hallways with junkrat lol

i never wanted to be a “mercy main” bc of the stigma around it and i’d actively avoid picking her even if i wanted to bc of other ppl (which is so pathetic tbh 😭) but watching rlly good mercy players like ski has honestly helped me to stop giving af about what other ppl think and just practice getting good at the character i love

I feel like these videos not only show how impressive these players are in characters they specialise in but also show how important it is to be able to play multiple characters. While there were some games that were lost because of bad teammates making stupid mistakes, there were also quite a few games that could've been won had you been able to pick someone else apart from Mercy. I think it really shows how important flexability between characters is in a game like Overwatch

My god, your movement is insane. Im slacking on mercy so hard

watching this i can see that my GA movement could be sooooo much better. i can see that i've still only really gotten the basics down. seems like i need to get better at using jump to glide more laterally rather than just using crouch to super jump vertically all the time. also could be better at using my allies as slingshot points to help me maneuver around the map rather than anchors to just orbit around. watching the movement alone has helped me already i think. so far my comp experience has been pretty abysmal--only 2 wins and 11 losses--and i haven't even been able to be placed yet. a lot of my matches seem like straight-up stomps and while i don't want to entirely blame matchmaking it's pretty demoralizing. i'm beginning to think that i'll have to get a placement after 21 losses instead of 7 wins. bronze here i come! haha i want to play mercy because i think that's where i'll get the most value. i don't have consistent enough aim for characters like ana, kiriko, bap, or zen and i don't really feel comfortable playing lucio. i like moira but i feel like i have more team utility when playing mercy. that and a lot of the time the other support will insta-lock moira at the start of the game. i also like brigitte but it seems that her usage is a lot more situational and niche, i have a lot of trouble contributing anything when i play her. i've been focusing on enabling my DPS (or the tank if they're out-performing DPS) with damage boost but i've felt pretty helpless in most of my games so far. i'm hoping that this will help me a little more!

I was stuck in Gold 3-1 on mercy for so long, didn't know what I was doing wrong so i changed my play-style to match skiesti's to the best of my noob mercy abilities. I love playing mercy but it was a hit to the confidence being stuck and unable to climb unless I play Moira. I am now Plat 2 and still climbing c: edit: Im from Australia so im never able to make your streams so this video is gold to me! EDIT: Diamond 2

I used to main mercy for years, but every unranked to gm challenge has “part 1” in the title after a 12 hour video. Meanwhile ppl hitting gm in 3 hours on a fresh account with bap and kiriko. Poor mercy just sucks for climbing.

Playing mercy is actually so hard in comp, especially nowadays , people always want to go the weirdest DPS comp in lower ranks and that is why they do not climb

This is so helpful! I enjoy playing mercy and never knew how to really make use of her movement abilities like you before. Charging forward then back to heal at max distance and keep your movement unpredictable, learning to trust my other support, knowing which dps to boost... this is awesome!

I learned a lot from your videos, and I do exactly what you did in, but I'm still stuck bronze 5 since season 3 and I don't wanna play ranked anymore. It's make me really sad that I try the best I can and still can't climb even when I have 3K damage boost with 2 death, a lot of assists and a lot of heal too... I feel like it's useless for me to try and try and try again and again...

I wish they made it so you can change your sensitivity based on what weapon mode you’re in just like you can change your crosshair, I would lower my sensitivity for glock so I could hit those shots on the Ana who’s alone 😭😭 Also this gameplay is insane, I recently climbed from Silver 4 to Gold 1 with Mercy/Kiri and I thought my movement was decent but this is insane. Seeing this made me realize it’s impossible to be a good mercy with the default mapping on console. Actually true of all flying characters, you literally can’t aim and fly.
