Stevens has been my home resort for over 25 years and I won’t hesitate to say that management especially Vails management has ruined the small local resort feeling. Weekend parking lots are FULL before opening, they placed the terrain park on one of the busiest groomers getting you back to the lodge. I noticed in the video that you looked on your phone to see if the backside was open, even though I hate all of the technology you see on the mountain nowadays (cells, Bluetooth speakers usually playing rap, GoPros everywhere) it saved you from getting a smart ass reply from the lifties at the top of Hogsback, don’t believe me ask them if “Tye Mill is open”

So true. I grew up skiing at Stevens as well beginning in 2004. It's changed so much, and Vail refuses to hold themselves accountable. Very sad to see

Your so right, there's been alot of people that have skied,snowboarded and worked for year's at STEVENS PASS and now VAIL RESORTS come's along and screws things up and they act like they have nothing to do with it.Well if that's true then why don't you (VAIL)have your customers do a survey and ask them what they think about any of the changes that have been going on (that could be done online when they buy a season pass).Also look at all of the employees that have worked here for so long and since VAIL RESORTS showed up their not returning employees and alot of them have been working at STEVENS PASS ALONG TIME,OVER 20+,and they don't feel accountable.WhislerBlackcomb is going through the same thing.

@@craigbosko2229 yep, exactly. Next year is our last year at Stevens and then we move to Montana. I’m fortunate that I won’t have to deal with Vail as our local Montana resort isn’t owned by some corporate chain.

That's my home mountain. Overall, not bad. Since you're young and relying on your youth, you may not notice all the strain you're putting on your knees, but you need to work on proper release of your outside ski in order to enjoy those slopes more.

Nice job. Skiing moguls in ice is always fun :-) Where else are you going to explore? In Oregon I'd recommend Willamette Pass, Skibowl, and Ashland as under-rated ski resorts. Bachelor is fun, but the best parts are often closed and it's crowded. Timberline is really flat, and Meadows is a really busy.

@trailreviews3628
@trailreviews3628 3 жыл бұрын
The quality of the snow at Stevens as well as the variety is way more than Snoqualime, so I recommend Stevens. While they don't have many greens, the blues there have a large range. Some are easier and some harder.
