I'd highly recommend finding a way to ski! I'm lucky to live in beautiful Colorado. Skiing is so freeing! Makes you appreciate this beautiful place we all call home!

@@DM-hl3bx the only place within reasonable distance from me is an indoor ski centre, and although that would help me learn, i would have to travel abroad to reach the mountains! but ill try, one day!!

I get to ski a couple of days a week. I see kids like yours on the slopes and I smile every time I see them. Your little girl is the one that got me chanting "powder! powder!"

I grew up on ice skates. Didn't ski until I was 11. I love all outdoor activities. I am grateful that I was able to do all these activities as a child.

I have recently came across your channel after skiing for the first time! Skiing is something I never thought I'd do and is something I have started as an adult, but watching you and your family ski reminds me of the child like joy you get when you get into the zone while skiing! Love the channel!

Funny you met people from Germany. I'm from germany too, and I enjoy your videos a lot. I started skiing in 2020 and taught it my son (7) this year and he really loved it since he made his first run by himself. We love to go freeclimbing with the family in summer and I think we share a lot of attitude in living and raising kids. Keep up the good work Thank you Leo

I was a late starter (mid-50s), and I am enormously jealous that I didn't have an opportunity to learn at an age before the adult brain got into the habit of overthinking everything. I've seen tiny ones having lessons, and they just start skiing - they have no fear they give no fluffs. (Mostly I try not to be jealous, and just be grateful that I found skiing at all). The simplest advice on skiing I ever had was from a young gentleman of about four years old, on how to find your way when skiing a run that you didn't know very well: "You point your skis down the hill, then you go, until you stop." Frankly, it seemed to work for him.

I feel sorry for Luca and his cold fingers! That is no fun. I know you buy great gear for your kiddos, and I just want to throw a recommendation out there. 🙂 I LOVE Scott youth mittens. I have small hands and they’re the only brand I’ll wear. Somewhere in the neighborhood of $40 so they’re not super expensive. But they WORK. Toasty hands all day

Think of of your children needs to remember to look up slope when returning from off piste, few times didn't look at all. Very different rule coming off piste to one piste compared to who has right of way in terms of up hill skier.
