looks really quiet almost have the piste to yourself, is that typical for January?

Yeah around 10-20 january is really quiet, almost zero countries have school holidays. Also there is a lot more snow if you compare it to for example december. You’ll still have to be lucky but january is 100 times better than february in my opinion :)
