I had a lot of these moments cross country skiing for the first time with my family. Had some fun, falls, fear and emotions. Even with the tears over an icy hill I was asked the next evening if we could go next weekend. Next, is downhill skiing.

Shes really 2/3? Im quite amazed not just because she ski so well but her overall competence putting on her own clothes and expressing herself in general. Shes one smart cookie

She taught me how to skii to be honest! I binged your videos a week before I went skiing and I just kept reminding myself if a three year old can do it with confidence and do an incredible job then so can I! And I went out there with as much confidence as adia and I used some of her little techniques that you taught her and I shredded that mountain!!! I love your content! Keep it up.

Well, thanks a lot guys, I'm just become dad and… I showed me that there's life being daddy! I was afraid to lose my sport and adventures in life made of skiing, climbing, hiking and traveling. My Dad started my siblings and I at approx. this age and we looked like baby ducklings following daddy duck !! We became pretty decent skiers later on. Great memories ❤❤

I love it when parents love to skii and love to share what they love to do and if their children want to learn what their mom and dad love to do then awesome! I noticed how gentle caring and encouraging you are with Adia and Lucas and not overacting to little things!! That gives children the encouragement to say Yeah I am ok etc...🙂🙂👍👍

The way he made adia realized that life is all about riding and falling down sometimes but it is okay to do so and pick ourselves up is such a wholesome and learning moment for everyone with or without a family. I see a great dad, a good man having his best times with his courageous and awesomely talented and cute little daughter. way to go Adia!!

so fast to learn. she cried more from the shock and losing her glove then from pain it seemed. i hope she was allright? but amazing to see her up and around again so fast. talked and telling. amazing to look and see

Dad: "Did you get hurt when you fell?" Her while bawling: NOOOOOooo!!" I literally just found this channel and it's so adorable. You are so good with your kids and little Luca is a shredder already! As the cool uncle who someday wants to be the cool dad I'm just taking notes haha. I don't think I could handle any one of my nieces or nephews for a full day alone yet =P

imagine being 3 and already so amazing at life.... amazing parenting. what you are giving these kids is so amazing now only for now, but for life as the get olde4r and as grown adults. imagine if we all were parented like this loved rewarded for our achievements and to be encouraged when we fall... imagine how amazing our world would be!!!!

Times have so changed! Back in the 1950s when I was a child, we went out in groups. Older ones looked after the little ones. We climbed trees and played Tarzan swinging from lianas. Adults passing would just say, "Be careful" We found out what worked and what didn’t. Scrapes and bruises were wiped off with a spit on a handkerchief. These things cannot be done today, traffic on the way to these places, the (remote) risk of the bogeyman. To see these parents allowing and encouraging their kids to take risks lightens my heart.

Aww, bless her!! Sometimes, even now as an adult, it’s more of the shock of something happening like hitting something or falling over etc that’s worse than any injury you may get. But her confidence especially on the boxes is so amazing to see, especially compared to last year!

I just loved it! Adia recovered her confidence so fast, congrats to mom and dad! I was hoping to see you at the mountains during our first trip to Fernie, but you travelled to Revelstoke during those dates. Fyi, although I'm 40, every time I got scared skiing, I remembered "If Adia can do it, I can do it too" ❤

How August gave Adia the stick to pull her up)) You are raising a good people. BTW, my 1 yo finally tried to ski for the first time)) There is no snow in Toronto unfortunately, but we skied in those couple of days when it snowed. Thanks for inspiration.

I can see her carving coming along, If Adia says the box is easy I'm going to finally give it a go next time👍🏻😁 Also- props on teaching self help skills-it's so great to see young children be able to dress themselves, as a former toddler teacher, I witnessed so many children unable to do what Adia did-(when she got her base layer and socks on), I was always saddened for those children who struggled and I did my best to give them the autonomy you give Adia. I love how you had her calm down after the fall-very important, that post fall adrenaline can cause more injury. You should do a day in the life video from breakfast to last run😬 enjoy that snow up there- we are still waiting for some here in VT.😐👀😦
