LMAO I had to watch this again the ending is to hilarious. KHCA is so pumped raising their hand in the air like they won( I think they easily took it), then the crowds shocked reaction when the winner was announced. Then when you look at SKMZ Luigi and lil D got their heads down in shame, while Flea Rock is celebrating, then Thesis response to the judges. Now that the initial shock of KHCA loosen is gone this becomes rather funny!

Like Teknyc said, "the outcome was determined by the 3 judges, it's not the universal truth". Each judge has his/her OPINION and so does every other spectator. The judges were put in that position to make their choices. If the judges voted the way the crowd/general audience goes, that's be complete BS. They CLEARLY know more than us. Crowds can be just as biased as any judge. Biased or not, it's THEIR perspective of the dance. Who are we to tell them we know more about this art then them?

@dudepal187 Agreed. I watched this battle again, and tried to look at it from a judging point of view instead of just straight up bias. I think the only one on KHCA who had musicality, flavor, and footwork was Flexum. He's always been able to freestyle and feel the music. SKMZ came hard. I feel bad that they get hated on for this battle.

At :55 Flea says Thesis does Luigi's move. But I can't tell what he's referring to. Anyone? I have seen Luigi do the move that Thesis does at :58 though. Lil John posted on the first video of this battle that Thesis did Steelo and Luigi's moves in this battle and I think his vote was already decided for SKMZ at that point. But in the quarters Lil John voted for Filthy Beast/KHCA over SKMZ (but was out voted by Cros1 and the girl judge) so I think he is a fair judge.

But, I'm talking about a more chronological order in gaining knowledge about bboys, same thing with crews ,and footage. To be honest, I don't know that much about soul control. Lil Jon shouldn't have judged. He used to rep Skill Methodz. If Flexum VOLUNTARILY takes himself off the judge's panel at Bring the Ruckus when KHCA battles, then so should Lil Jon.

I think SKMZ got bonus points from Lil Demon's set on the prelims, and the fact that KHC were celebrating even before the decision probably changed the outcome. Lil John actually voted against SKMZ and for KHZ when they battled in the quarters If I remember correctly so I don't think he's biased.He also explained his decision in a forum and both SKMZ and KHC shared their thoughts as well. In the end, Teknyc summed it up: 3 people's opinions isn't the universal truth.

Okay, lets look at why the judges may have picked Skill Methodz and lets not assume bias. What did Skill Methodz do better? Musicality, flavor, and footwork if you ask me. Knuckleheads Cali got routines, flow, and execution but they didnt really do anything too different from their planned sets. The point of doing a freestyle in a battle is to be free; to set aside your fears and thoughts and just take action with the music. Some judges will base their decisions solely on how well this is done.

@oakestilo I'm just really surprised at Lil John's decisions though throughout the night. He's actually dope and been around for a long ass time. I got a lot of respect for him and still do. @EnigmaticElement I love Taisuke, no homo, but i can admit he lost, same with Thesis. I was rooting for him to win, but he just had an off night, happens to the best of all b-boys. LOL what I love is when people say "Stylehead" and "Powerhead". All though I tend to say powerhead without realizing it sometimes. But people are forgetting style is WHAT makes you unique, your character and the way you battle or interpret the music. Not doing footwork and hitting beats LOL!
