How the fck it trades mobility when its most mobile heavy tank with actual armor 277 only have better turret

@@Musa-xx6qe hull armour has worse cheeks, is worse when hull down and it has way larger cupolas and a gold pen front turret. It also has way worse terrain resistances and worse top speed and p/w ratio. Alongside that, it has worse shells as the AP has less pen and all the shells have worse shell velocity

Thats why I started calling them WarRigging. The only game mode they had that was actually fun was the Railgun mode. Because then it was entirely skill based whether you hit or not. It didnt come down to RNG and praying for WarRigging's RNG (Rigged Number Generator) to allow you to hit and pen.

RNG, despite its faults, keeps the game interesting--like gambling. World of Warcraft is a great example of the players getting everything they thought they wanted, then the game got boring and the population plummeted. It's easy and logical to say we want rng out of the game. But humans are illogical and difficult to understand psychologically. Be open-minded about keeping rng. The old adage of "be careful what you wish for," is appropriate here.

@@Liberty73_NA you cannot compare WoW to WoT in terms of RNG. Doing so is stupid. They are two different games with two different engines running two VASTLY different programs. I fully EXPECT to have RNG in my RPGs. What I dont expect is to have dispersion, penetration values, AND damage all dictated in a game about tanks shooting other tanks. Im sorry. IRL does not have a +/-25% penetration value on tank shells. It does not have a +/-25% damage modifier on shell explosions. And it sure as FUCK doesnt have between a 0.23 and a 0.72 spread coefficient on shots aimed at distances less than 500m on where a shell is gonna land. GTFO of here with that B.S. comparison attempt.

@@nephalos666 very well said. Remember the mode that you can actually hit your shots with a Thrashbarn 500 meters away but everybody is getting spotted at 445 meters? that was good despite the proxy spotting getting maxed out.

First of all, the Vz 55 only has 80 mm of side armour which 5A gun easily over matches. And also Vz 55 has basically no front armour when your on hull down against it.

what else do you want to do if you have a mission to get a certain amount of stun assist or combined score? I recently tried to make a bit of progress on my campaigns so had to do that several times and from my experience, changing targets to support your team better constantly will result in everyone fixing their stun with medkits immediately and you will leave the game with a shit score and can’t do the mission a lot of times. I personally play the tier 9 british arty with the smallest gun and try to focus the same targets for as long as possible and with the fast reload can almost keep them perma stunned (shooting every 17s or so) and pretty much guaranteed get the needed stun assist unless it’s a trash map. I detest playing arty myself, but really want to get 260 some day. The same way I also hate playing slow heavy tanks or camping next to the redline with TDs, but WG decided to introduce those missions and lock certain tanks behind them and by that force players to waste time doing things they don’t even enjoy themselves (in a fucking game lol). I don’t think arty should be removed, but at least campaign missions for artillery should and also the stun mechanics should change. You can’t even be consistent with artillery because very often players fix the stun right away and even if you wait for the perfect moment and stun enemies right when your team is pushing in, you won’t get any stun assist. also being perma stunned as a heavy is super annoying and will ruin the whole game for you. Either the stun effect should be removed completely or changed so it maybe has less impact on your tank performance but therefore can’t be fixed with medkits. Edit: Punishing players for focusing one target is just stupid imo

Sometimes arta focuses me so much he will not shoots for 1-1,5 mins if he have to and as soon as i get out of cover instantly smacks me...

@@Iandeavor it's stupid, and that's why I said it's not ideal. THe right way to go is for wg to grab their balls and remove arta from the game. But we know that won't happen so alternatives need to be thought about.

Enemy can fire at who they choose, same as you. Whilst 1 tank is pinned down, 14 tanks on your team can move freely. As others have said, it can make sense to target one tank, especially if it's enemy team's best player, & unlocks a flank.

Only time I play arty is when Im doing missions. Literally the only time. And when I do, if I see any form of t10 or t9 Chieftain, Kranvagn, 279e, or a t9 or t10 Conq. I WILL shit ALL OVER them all match. Why? Because 99% of the time, they're gold spammers. That and they're in busted ass tanks. FUCK them. I'll enjoy ruining their game experience by continuous shelling, whether I win or not. Maybe if more people did the same thing, we could get people to stop playing these fucking ridiculous tanks so much.

It is harder to play than 277 but it can play hulldown with better gun depression and gun handling.

@@FrozenHero9694 wz also have better dpm, yes better depression 7 degrees to be accurate insted of the 5 degrees of 277, which is very handy always. Back in the day wz was used in cw much more often than 277 but one day WG decided to nerf the engine and the terrain resistance of wz, but still in my humble opinion wz is better than 277 in random battles.

You get more DPM and gun depression but worse everything else, including standard pen, gun handling, speed, armor etc. It's still probably equal to 277 in randoms though, in competitive gamemodes you always pick 277 instead though. Note one thing, if you research WZ, since it's a tier X chinese tank you can also buy 113 from collectors vehicles, which is a lot different than the 277 and more fun than WZ IMO

It's more of the other way around since the 5A has more armour, mobility, dpm, and gun depression.

Marking tanks is all about doing damage and spotting for other people to do damage. Contributing to the team will not help you mark your tank, although you can argue that damaging and spotting tanks is still contributing.

@@djuraster still not much gun depression compared to other tanks

WZ 111 5A is slower and it has slightly weaker armour (both are meh there) but it is still relatively fast. Its AP penetration is lower. However to compensate, it gets better depression, better DPM and slightly better gun soft stats bar accuracy.

Obj 277 has a monster turret and extremely strong when hull down but the hull is very weak and you will have to deal with the bad gun depression although the side armor can definitely troll sometimes. It almost plays best on the opposite side of where you'd usually play the IS-7 on the map so not sidescraping in the city but instead peeking over the side of small hills
