Do you know how much they get paid on daily basis for making the 12 bowl a day?? Pkr 1000Rs. a day wage equivalent to usd 4 dollar for 10 hour 😢

In Mexico, there was or is a large vein of onyx 14+ feet in diameter that you can cut to any thickness table you want. Saw these at a Mexican trade fair in San Antonio in about 1976.

Throughout the process they have a stream of water running to catch the dust and turn it into slush, also to stop from heating. Stone is never cut or polished without water being poured on it continuously.

@@parulsinha3092you better the watch the video before you comment. Otherwise you'll see that in during the main operation process no water is applied and there is lots of dust all over.

It took nature billions of years to form it, takes humans a few minutes to turn it to dust. And this bowl will chip and break anyway. But it’s beautiful.
