I have this on vinyl, classic, paid an arm and a leg back in the day when I was heavily into UK Hip hop. This tune is from The Mud Family EP on Ronin Records. If anybody wants to buy this, Ebay is the only way of getting hold of this gem. Produced by Deckwrecka, Firebomb Fritz and Mad Money Wah.

Agzilla1 Respect to you as this is prob my favourite hip hop track and has given me and my mates a lot of pleasure over the years. I am producing some sample based hip hop and also am in a Hip Hop band called Halfpenny Pass - there's 8 of us 2 rappers, 2 singers - 2 classical guitars, flute sax, bass, beatbox. THE best UK Hip-Hop tune of that era (in my humble opinion), early to mid nineties. Swords in the dirt was another smasher, gwan JimJam, deal with the matter, deal with it proper!

I agree but this tune was so long ago now there. The two last great tunes I've heard since are Skinnyman / Pavan - Hold on and Let it go with Klashnekoff and TY but they are over 3 years old now. Please tell me if you think there is another classic which I am missing.

@jimmajamma2006 - cheers, i'll check it out. theres a brilliant glasgow rapper called bright sparks, check his video 'Bright Sparks - Schemes'. Just recently got into uk hip hop & grime. i was mostly listenin to american hip hop before, mostly underground stuff from between 93 to 96, which is the best era in my opinion, stuff like early wu-tang, cypress hill, house of pain, mobb deep, funkdoobiest, group home etc. and others more underground like mr brady, mr lif and stuff on battle axe records.
