The voting committee's job isn't to elect someone to the Hall of Fame because they're nice. Their job is to decide who goes in based on how they played. T.O. was the 2nd greatest receiver of all time. Lawrence Taylor and OJ are in the HOF. Brett Favre was a first ballot HOF. Do your job and pick the people who actually deserve to be in there.

Vbajor10 Yeah he is. Moss was inconsistent across his whole career and took plays off. Talent wise, he's the best of all time, but he didn't apply himself. T.O. Never took a play or year off, he played the Super Bowl with a broken leg. Moss would never do that.

Sad how they black balling T.O. The only reason he isn't in is because of people voting with their personal feelings of him. When they should be voting based on his career achievements which far exceed what is considered a so called " Hall of Fame" career. Chris Carter is in T.O had better numbers then him. Michael Irving is in T.O has better numbers then him. The list goes on and on.

Smiley Thegee that's a team accomplishment not an individual one. Football is the ultimate team sport. The hall of fame is the ultimate individual honor. There's a big difference. Ray Lewis had that huge scandal in 2000 and Randy Moss has similar off the field issues/attitude problems as TO. If they aren't putting TO in for whatever reason, it wouldn't surprise me at all if they black ball Moss and Lewis for a couple years, especially Moss since he doesn't have any rings.

Skip has always been the kind of person to bring up the worst in people's past. Even when he was in First Take he always brought up the worst of an athletes mistakes from his past, they could be talking about an athlete past away and Skip would always say remember when he did this or even though he did that, this guy just won't let someone's misery go he always brings it back up. It's a shame that such a person is on TV living the good life being successful because he would never have my vote as a good forgiving person.

Skip makes a valid point. A great player and a first ballet hall of famer is going to help his team to victory by leadership and example at the same time using your skills. Terrell didnt do that, and it cost him a Superbowl. Not having a Superbowl is what damages his first ballot chances.

T.O. deserves to be a hall of famer because his production on the field proves it, we all know his personal dealings with teammates and coaches but that is not something that is looked at in the hall of fame, I think T.O. should look for legal representation to support his cause because he could argue that he is being profiled by his character rather than the by the rules of the hall of fame. I think this H.O.F organization ought to be a shamed of it self on what it had allowed voters to do and get away with.

Skip is back against Mark Cuban. I am not sure how he survived that. Shannon just gave the stats with TO on the team and TO off the team.

I think there's a difference between judging on character, and judging on what he did to football teams. If you tear down every team you land on, I don't care how good your stats are, it could be questionable whether you should be in the Hall. The most important aspect of a player's career should be his positive impact on the team. If your impact is a net loss for the team, you don't deserve it, regardless of the stats you put up.

I admit he really let his emotions get the better of him a lot. But this is not about being a HOF person but a HOF player!! And he undoubtedly is!!

It's his lack of rings combined with the fact that he decimated locker rooms...I guarantee you that if T.o won a Super Bowl he would have been a first ballot..Because he certainly has the talent and his numbers speak for themselves...Not saying you need rings to make it in the Hall of Fame but if your own the edge because of off field behavior then a lack of rings will push you off.

It’s personal for Skip and he is emotional. T. O IS was a 1st ballot HOF IN FOOTBALL. All the other stuff…that’s a different convo.

only thing i fault t.o on is not making it work in philly...that was the perfect spot for him, good qb, great players coach' talented defense, ect.....getting them to a superbowl his 1st yr there shows he was the missing link it he had made it work for 3 or 4 more seasons they would have 1 maybe multiple rings
