After 30 days it is finally done, THE definitive mohg-like video.
This is by far my longest video yet and it will probably be the longest video i have ever made on this channel. I underestimated how long this video was going be, at first it looked like it would just be a 10-15 minute long video about all the one-guy mohg messages jerma read. but then i found out that jerma actually fought mohg a couple streams later so i added the mohgwyn palace and boss fight section. both sections added around 20 minutes to the already ~13 min long video, so i had to cut out about 5 min from the first section and 6 min off the palace section. I also had to space out all the editing/bits.
The most fun part of making this video was editing all the bits (my favourite was the chapter 2 transition) but i had to stop myself from adding a bit every 20 seconds otherwise the video would never get finished. The worst part of making this video was adding the chat to every clip and syncing the time. It took by far the longest time and is just really tedious and boring. and it didn't help that i was using after effects for this, im pretty sure any other video editing software would've made this a lot easier.

Tbh I used astels flail on my first playthrough as well. I didn't really care how bad flails were at the time, it just seemed like a great weapon for a sorcerer. Didn't even use the ash of war much

My favorite part is "Is this Mohg, do I have to hit him in the eye?" on Fire Giant. I can't tell if Jerma forgot that the boss mechanic where you hit Mohg in the eye was something he made up so he could do a fake TikTok dance without standing up. Maybe he remembered, but maybe it was just absorbed into his internal Mohg lore with origin forgotten. The reaction was so fast.

I imagine it was like when you're waiting to be summoned for ages and you're on your phone with the controller in your lap. You get summoned, the screen hasn't finished fading in as you watch the host fly past you horizontally and blow up on the opposite wall like a condom filled with marinara sauce. Exactly this. He's much easier to fight up close even for a caster. You only spacing for certain spells but otherwise just case magic from up his bootyhole.

The thing about a prayer for strength players made me laugh because the closer to mogh you get the easier he is because his reach is so long that the hitboxes are smaller when you're close most of the time, it also doesnt help jerma has the dodge timing of a tree stump

Yeah, if you always roll into him, the fire in the second phase will barely be a problem. I mean, you still need to watch out for it, but it's mostly your fault if you get bleed because of it. That's why Mohg is my fav boss: he's completly fair outside of his phase transition

The fucking MOHG DOWN message was way funnier than it should've been. Also I loved all the little references you put in the twitter bit: the Mohg dance tweet from Miquella, Mohg quote retweeting Morgott, the trending tab being about the Erdtree burning, etc.

I came back to this video to say, I just beat Mohg a few minutes ago, and have a small life lesson for any _Gamers™._ I was dying over and over for like 2 hours, slamming my head against a Mohg-shaped brick wall, and getting extremely frustrated. I went and made dinner, (accidentally) took a nap after eating too much, took a shower, came back, and I beat him first try. Stepping back and chilling out when you're losing your shit really helps. It's not a joke or a meme.
