I actually started tweaking when I saw that you dropped this. I've rewatched this at least 10 times...BSD has been my special interest for like 3 years now and I'm super nitpicky about how people characterize soukoku, but I LOVED the way they interacted and I'm actually rolling around and dancing in happiness bcs of this video. @@Ruiixo I'm not as big on kny anymore, I used to be, but BSD grabbed me directly by the throat lol. Kny is near and dear to my heart though and I'm so hyped for the new movie arc to come out cus me and my mom are planning to go see it in theater!! Genya inosuke and giyuu r my favorite slayers ;3 My main problem with the way people characterize soukoku is because usually they are characterized SO WELL when they're reacted to separately, and so BAD when they're reacted to together. The toxicity and codependency is always so warped. Like for example when they add in the drawing of chuuya passed out crying after dazai's defection from the PM. IT DRIVES ME INSANE. i have a violent internal hatred for that drawing. What people don't understand about skk is that they understand each other!!! ((WELL ENOUGH FOR ASAGIRI-SENSEI TO SAY THEY'RE TWO PARTS OF THE SAME SOUL IN DIFFERENT BODIES.)) People always assume that chuuya is stupid just because he isn't as smart as dazai, when asagiri-sensei literally said that chuuya is the only person who is capable of understanding dazai's true motives. Chuuya probably ((very soberly)) acknowledged that dazai was unhappy in the PM and that it was a harmful place for him to be in. ((One of my favorite hc's for chuuya is that after stormbringer he found an interest in science and he uses it to understand himself and life in general!!)) Yes, chuuya definitely has severe attachment/abandonment issues ((raging undiagnosed borderline personality)), but he would NEVER be caught lacking like that in public, and he'd probably be dead rather than be caught by DAZAI... He definitely has reasons to be angry about dazai leaving, but chuuya isn't going to fault dazai for removing himself from a toxic environment. I'd wager he's content with it because he knows dazai's finally happy ((he just thinks the agency people are stupid.)) But I think it's more like chuuya being angry because dazai didn't say anything to him before he left, and dazai was important to chuuya, and when dazai ghosted him, he was hurt because he felt like dazai didn't trust him, and he felt unimportant. He felt abandoned (for the 1200th time in his life) add insult to injury because it was the boy he'd been crushing on for 3 years!! They make me so insane...sigh. Srry for the rant, my hand slipped........
