Had two "used old bangers" , the first a 1.9 tdi and secondly the 3 pot !.4 tdi. Paid £750 for a 2006 1.9 with K173 on the clock. Opinion? Bloody brilliant car especially on Motorways and Dual track. The 1.4tdi cost me a fortune, £1250, 88K 2007. What's it like? Same story, bloody brilliant little Estate for all my Golf gear etc. If you have never owned a Skoda, get wise quick. My first was an Octavia Estate then two Fabia's. Use to say "You can't beat a Ford" but now I know different. Skoda are really good cars for sensible people.
