Күн бұрынSkoda Fabia 2 1.6 TDI fuel filter change. In this video I showed fuel filter change on my vehicle.
Steps :
1. Disconnect pipes
2. Remove old filter
3. Install the new filter
4. Connect only fuel IN pipe (from fuel pump)
5. Start fuel pump from VCDS to fill new filter with fuel. It will make easier to start the engine later.
VCDS
Engine, Bassic settings, Transfer fuel pump, GO.
Wait for 5 seconds or when fuel starts to leak from new filter turn off fuel pump.
6. Connect and other pipe
7. All done, you can start the engine

I filled the filter with the approx. 20x repeated ignition position. Then pluged the second hose and the start was without any problems.

Hi, how did you realize it is filled enough after 20x repeatitions? You pull it out and check after every repeatiton or..? 🤔

Would always fill filter --------- my Car has air locked a number of times and have ran out of battery.

So if u dont have this vcds computer thing. U can do the same thing by just turning ignition on and off a few times and that does the same thing???

No need to fill fuel filter at all before starting engine?

You can, but I loaded fuel in filter before starting engine with VCDS starting fuel pump.
