Skoda is part of VAG group, so it shares parts like the engine, transmission, etc. but some cosmetic pieces like the center console or stereo system are mot shared, hence there for example , Audi or volkswagen have better quality parts

Jensfos. No its 0-60 in about 11secs. Everything about this car gets me going... the sound, the engine, fuel consumption, the sporty look even the interior, but its soo slow its untrue I literally struggle in 2nd gear going up a hill.

Jake Lamotta The 1.0 fabia is bit slow yes. But 1.2tsi goes 100 kmh in just 8.54 seconds with full tubro

Dale88 The Fabia 3 is technically more recent than the Polo. Skoda buildt the Fabia on a new platform, called MBQ, so the Fabia is a little more comfortable and has more space in it. Motor and electric is comparable.

Yes indeed. I bought the new Fabia in Sept 2016. Since 30. Nov I'm a happy Fabia driver too. Everything is perfect and the car is worth every penny.

Fabia is definitely not bigger than Polo. Fabia is for sure one of smallest cars in class. ix20 is bigger, polo is bigger, punto, corsa, yaris and so on. I have problem sit behind driver's seat, when I set it to my usual driving position (183cm height). I never had this problem in punto, polo, corsa, and other cars. Fabia is for smaller people, at most 170cm at best. Also front seat are very narrow with montecarlo features, I can't sit there comfortly, even I'm typical "EU format driver". Also it feels cheaper comparing with Polo.

Columbus is not available for Fabia. It's Amundsen.

Jake Lamotta go to skoda site and choose the put together option for fabia. I think only the business and business sportline get 1.2tsi 4 cylinder. Definetly worth the extea money. We have a 2016 Fabia Combi Business Sportline (Joy pack) with 1.2 Tsi 4 cylinder. 3 cylinder 1.0tsi will last like 140k kilometer but the 1.2 tsi 4 cylinder will last up to 290.000
