@Sout mkhafef Not the case. Inline fours have a single plane crankshaft while most street V8s have a dual plane crank, resulting in the characteristic rumble. My comment only referred to how an inline 3 sound reminds me to a 6 cylinder. I don't like R4 sound, maybe a H4.

I used to have this same car, but in sedan version from 2003. This car was amazing, the gearbox was the best of all the cars I drove.

This generation of fabia is IMO the best car in terms of value and maintainence. It is cheap to buy and extremely cheap to servis. It is also a very decent looking. I had also 1.2HTP and it sure isnt a race car, but lets be honest most of us are not racers and for decent driving its quite ok. So its really a great car for such a small amount of money :). Great video as always.

I had the regular hatchback in the same color. Always liked how the engine sounded. It’s not suited to motorway cruising though, too many revs and fuel economy takes a hard dive over 100kph.

i have 2003 1.2 HTP 47 kW with 330 000 km. Original engine, without any problem. Today 200 km (same roads both ways) with 5,7 l/100 km. This engine is not that bad :D

@@KJ-rh1cs podle profilovky asi můžu klidně česky :D no, zatím jsem ho neměnil. Už dva roky si říkám, že to auto už mám jen na dojetí a nebudu do něho mimo běžnou údržbu vrážet peníze, a ono je pořád naprosto v pohodě :D

In czech, HTP stands for "Honem To Prodej" meaning "Sell it now" or "Hovno To Pojede" meaning "even shit is faster" xD. Jokes aside, my friend used to have one back in the day and we had ton of fun with it.

My relatives live in the Czech Republic, and I visit them at least twice a year. It's gotten super expensive renting a car in the past few years, esp. when I had to work from home for a month and really needed to use the car just once per week when I was there. So I decided to buy "a car". Wasn't gonna spend fortune on a car I'd drive for a few hundred km per year, so this was my best option. She is a 2004, but after the first owner - pensioner, garaged since new, no rust and only 63k km on the clock. I really got myself a nice reliable vehicle.

I have a red hatchback version as a daily driver. The 1.2 HTP is the best allround engine for that model. It´s quite revvy and not heavy on fuel either. I don´t even have electric windows (who really needs that?). But i do have aircon. It´s a decent looking cheap to service car.

I see that you like to do POV drives. My best suggestion to you is that adjust the mirrors so that the people on YOUYUBE can see who is overtaking them. that gives them the best immersion :)

I drive the exact model and I can say it's quite a fun little ride, it's not a race car by any means, but it takes you whereever you want to be, and it's dirt cheap to service! Though my only gripe is the not having Cruise Control on long roads as it can be numbing for my legs to hold the gas at a steady 130 or 90 km/h

...aneb návod, jak během odpoledne oddělat fabii (navíc hezkou) i s motorem. Mám úplně stejnou (combi 1,2 12V), ale chovám se k ní s úctou... žádný nesmyslný "offroad" a zbytečné vytáčení motoru. Za to se mi odměnila 270tis. kilometry bez poruch a pořád se s ní jede hezky i na dlouhé cesty. Vím, že to někdy potřebuje trochu "protáhnout", ale takhle moc... Auto včetně motoru tady dostalo pořádně na p*del.

to viete, z cudzieho krv netečie. Ono aj Vám, keby niekto dal do rúk auto, že máte 2hod na to, aby ste spravili video a otestovali čo v ňom je, tak sa len usmejete a dáte to. Ja mám rovnaké auto a správam sa k nemu ako by to bolo najdrahšíe auto na svete. Proste preto, lebo chcem, aby mi čo najdlhšie vydržalo. Mám aj ďaľšie auto, oveľa silnejšie a športovejšie, no jazdím na ňom rovnako ako na Fabii. Mám svoj vek a som aj zodpovedný.

@@karelkawashima9050 přesně tak, fabii mám pořád a jak říkáte, chovám se k ní, jako by byla nejdražší na světě. Teď má 352 tisíc km a pořád je s ní hezké svezení. Také mám ještě jedno, v létě jsem si pořídil "veterána", krásnou zachovalou felicii ve výbavě GLXi s 50kW z roku 95 a to je pro mě jako poklad. O obě auta se starám, jak jen to jde, mám auta rád a neměl bych srdce na to, abych ho úmyslně ničil, i kdyby nebylo moje. Mít ho na chvilku půjčené, určitě bych se neudržel a svezl se trochu "sportovně", ale aby trpělo, to ne... Pro mě jsou jako by měly duši.

@@josef-soukup Ďaľšia vec, ktorú nechápem je, že ľudia, ktorí žijú v meste, si kupujú diesel, napriek tomu, že jazdia 5km do práce a 1km do obchodu. A to len preto, že diesel menej žere. Mám kolegu, kt. si kúpil TDi V6 za 60tis EUR, preto, lebo benzín je drahý. A denne nabehá max 10km. Šetriť sa musí, nech to stojí, čo to stojí, hlavne že je to diesel. Rovnako, ako aj šoféri, ktorí sa na mňa tlačia, lebo idem 90, tam kde je 90 limit. Nakoniec ich aj tak dobehnem po pár km v najbližšej dedine.

Вот такие двигатели нужно ставить во все автомобили! Зачем мощность более 100 лошадиных сил вообще? В повседневе и 60лс вполне достаточно. И вообще, максимальную скорость нужно ограничивать на 80кмч.

такое ограничение небезопасно. Лучше иметь запас по мощности, чем не иметь его вовсе и всегда ездить на пределе возможности автомобиля

@@ilytyu запас по мощности как раз и приводит к печальным последствиям. При максимальной скорости 80кмч обгонов как таковых уже не будет, все будут ехать спокойно, и легко можно будет спрогнозировать и встроиться в поток с поворота и тд.
