In my family we r also driving polo and rapid. Polo 2015 model petrol, rapid 2017 model diesel. Polo completed 153000/ kms and rapid 109000/- kms. I use to visit service centre only after 15000 or 16000 kms as recommended once in a year or before , depending upon need. Normal service cost around 10000 for each. So less than a rupee per km service cost. Driving conditions, driving habits, quality of spares used & other factors decides service cost. I or my known people never faced any issue with service cost or product performance of vw group cars. Never faced issue with AC motor, fuel pump, alternator. Yes clutch plates, battery , tyres, brake pads, suspensions changed and that in cost as per part price.

If ac motor changed under warranty without any cost then what is the issue????? VW group provides two years warranty of parts replaced in authorised service centre.

Hey Dude.... Can you please tell me At How much Period U have Serviced ur Car ? Is it One Year Period in general ? Or Nly Depending On ur Kms run ? And Id it's on ur Kms plz tell me the Time period in general Just to get idea.

Very good analysis. But by seeing the bills we can say the reliability of parts is not good. So many parts were changed throughout.

Good effort to show the good features. I would like to share from my experience. If a kid half opens the door from inside ( means door has to be pulled out still more to get down) and driver has missed out to notice that door and applies remote lock. Then all doors get locked including the not completely open door. Another feature. If you have switched off the engine and before opening any of the door the windows or mirrors function thru the electricals 🎉.Means even if key is in off position your windows and mirrors work from inside the car.

Seems like you are a rough driver, skoda cars are a bit expensive to maintain but not like this, suspension doesn't goes off this much early. Your good driving practice (s) will divert a lot of running expenses. Try it.

I’ve never been a Skoda owner but I’ve had two vw Vento’s back to back. And I’ve never had so high bills for the cars. Some problem of Skoda’s ? You should have complained about the AC motor, even the first time you paid should have been under warranty.

Story of your video: You used your car almost 88 months approx. And spent ₹236000 approx. for maintenance in this period! And every month average it was ₹2,700 Make a note: 1. His car 1.6 diesel variant (It needs high periodic maintenance) 2. 4 periodic accident service, it’s too much for personal vehicle 3. These accidents resulted in additional expenses in paid services due to spare part reliability concern! (So many spare part replacement in paid service) 4. And once the warranty period finished don’t relay on dealer shops, the custom service center will be a better option! 5. I hope the petrol variant will be a better option in Volkswagen/Skoda brands!

1st off Great Video keep it up, those people planning for new or 2nd hand car they not aware about maintenance cost, it depends on our choice & life style, but I am Happy with My Toyota Etios with low maintenance cost Reliable engine, smooth ride with sefty more space, (just normal service :- oil change, oil filter air filter replaced no any extra exp..). That's y I love Toyota just start engine enjoy trip then return to home.... Only car good looks & extra features not matter...As per my Experience...

thanks a lot bro!!!!, this is really really good insight into the maintanace. i own a maruthi suzuki ertiga, have never paid more than 10k, for any service, including parts repacement, for 1 lakh km. brakes are replaced at 80k km, ac recharge was done once at 70k, no other issues, just fuel the car and keep going

I see a lot of comment that the cost is very high but i think its not that costly. The maintenance cost and repair cost largely depend on type of engine and price of car. Diesel car's maintenance cost around 30% more than its petrol variant. Secondly if you are comparing your small hatch with this car you are mistaken. Third thing is once a car crosses 1 lack mark the service cost will increase drastically. I have maruti Ritz diesel and elite I20 Petrol. I20 is costlier than Ritz yet the service cost is more or less same except the accidental repair. As I 20 is costlier, the accidental part replacement is costlier. So compare this car's maintenance with a 12 lakh car and not below 8 lakh cars.
