Used your video for similar problem on my Karoq. Worked great! Thanks for doing all the hard trial and error. For starters, I would never have worked out the removal of the spring-loaded end cap. I hadn't realised that end arrangements would be different and that you can only retension from one end - my roller blind knowledge not up to scratch. On the Karoq the tensioning 'key' is in the nearside (left) end and fortunately I opened this end. I tensioned with 20 turns. I get lifted off my feet when the cover reals in!

Many thanks, I followed your method and it worked!! It took several goes, as I had trouble locating the "other" end in it's housing. I needed a third hand. In the end 28 turns worked well. Inspite of you saying "don't forget the spring" I forgot the spring...

With your video help I just repaired myself, thank you so much. It was easier to open both ends so you can drag more pole out to twist, when it gets tighter and its start to pull step on the cover.

I saved meself a couple of hundred quid right now too😂. I wasn't quite sure about how much a full turn was. I did a 360 using the two long clips as a reference as 1. It worked 😂. Thank you, Sir.

I presume if you want to reduce the spring tension then yes you could. Mine doesn't have a stop half way function, so I'm Not sure.

Nice tutorial! Can I do the opposite on this way? Seems like my cover is too fast and doesn't stop in the middle position where it should stop.

Maybe I'm being a bit thick, but can you tell me how to remove the damn thing in the first place? I can't see any screws or anything but trying to lift of out, it feels stuck and like any more force will break something. Thanks.
