Honda City is the best in this segment

I think the owner cares more for the brand than the car and is carried away by it, thinking Skoda is a very preimum brand. It's not. American, European cars have very good build quality, but safety is an important but not the only parameter. Reliability, after sales, spare parts availability matter too. These turbo charged engines might not last long and will wear out much quicker compared to NA. The engine switch off technology also stops the AC, another reviewer said that. So at signals, the AC might stop. What about the fantastic engine of Honda and perfectly calibrated gear box? Also City has 4 stars compared to 5 of Skoda, it's not as if Slavia is miles ahead, rather it's comparable and City is safe enough. Also people tend to forget that for a model surviving for 25 years in a highly competitive market like India is no joke. I might sound biased, and Slavia might be a very good car, but ppl should not jump to conclusions and wait for 3-4 years to see how good the product actually is.

Technology is good people will not feel that they are driving 1.0ltr 3cylinder engine but at the end of the day as compared to 4cylinder engine there are drawbacks 1. Noisier than 4cylinder and vibration will eventual start after some years 2. AC problem will be there 3. There isn't much mileage despite of being 3cylinder engine

Please mention the variant 1.0L or 1.5L in the title itself.

“Skoda liya hai to fir mileage ..haha” - don’t you think owner is so much misled to think that Skoda Slavia is a luxury brand like BMW, Merc etc. VW is a group owns so many brads from local common man to middle class to luxury BUT just think like that Tata Nexon is Tata but Range Rover is Tata JLR. Don’t overpay for your wrong imaginations; though Slavia is a good car, I don’t disagree on that.

Actually we can get better mileage ..personal experience with salvia 1.0 manual - 14km\l on city \ 21km\l - highway

Uncle - Verna is far better than Slavia when it comes to features, it's 5 star rated and yes delivers good mileage. The only plus point of Slavia is higher GC, rest in all aspects it falls short. Moreover, you're driving a 1.0 3C which is not comparable to Verna Turbo

8 mileage is not all acceptable that too for 1.0 litre engine ...for 1.5 least one can think..too high price for 5 star just plus the interiors have been dowgraded the buyer had skoda earlier he must have known it by now but prefered not to reveal ir ..creaks all over inside...well buyer will def think before and def make an informed decision
