During the pandemic Tim lost his job and Irina's acting gigs were cancelled and so faced with this major life change they made the best of it by moving into a tiny house, converting a bus they'd bought a few years prior with the help of Tiny Living Consulting: www.tinylivingconsulting.com and hitting the road for a big adventure. They now live full time in their converted school bus.

You are giving your kid the BEST opportunity to be what he wants when he grows up. Im a laid back eccentric homeschool mom. If you ever have questions, I'm here. We do not conform to the things that led up to me struggling my entire adult life. I'm encouraging my child to go after what she wants and that's usually what we center everything around. As far as socializing with other school children, all that did was get my kid in a lot of trouble. They also got bullied. And because the socio-economic thing was going on, my kid usually got blamed for things that other kids did. We were poor and we lived in housing for a while. We're also both on the autism spectrum which puts that big target on us to both get picked on. So we had to remove from that situation. The funny thing is, one of the things my kid got in trouble for at school the most was trying to socialize. We did some other things outside of the public school system where my child socialized more, with all ages of people. They also had the opportunity to volunteer and help younger children. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

I love your bus! The only thing is the pantry is to low and the pillow shuffle to get in the refrigerator. But over all you guys did a GR8T job! Safe travels to you and your family! 👍❤

Hands down the luckiest kid in the world! Not only has this guy grown up in New York City, a place millions aspire to one-day call home (myself included), but he and his awesome parents have also embraced the opportunity to switch it up, live the skoolie life, and make the entire country their back yard. I would challenge that living in NYC might just be the best "training" for a life on the road. Both lifestyles force one to get creative with the small living space they are (most likely) given while tackling head-on the uncomfortable and unpredictable. They traded subway rails for open trails. Not to mention that this kid has some serious model hair! Congrats to all three of you!

I absolutely LOVE Keoni’s bedroom! So perfect! Only thing I would change on their bus would be the couch. That fridge and pantry would be on drawer slides and the bed would either hinge the other way or be a sliding slat system so that flap wasn’t in the way and it wasn’t such a pain to get to food and drinks. But it’s absolutely beautiful, just like the family!

okay, i hope this doesnt come off weird but their son is such a cutie and when he is older, he is gonna be a heart throb! cool kid, love his personality, and you can tell his parents have inspired him and taught him well. they are so cool too! Irena, all parents have doubts and no one is sure we are doing the right thing for our kids, but he's happy, thriving, and healthy and that means you are doing the right thing for you guys. keep going!

@@lawanaphillips6445 it was that red and grey bowl that she unfolded that was in her cabinet. We carry measuring cups, colanders, containers with lids, dish rack and other foldable kitchenware that goes by the Brand name Squish. They are perfect for minimal storage space.

My youngest child lives in NYC She move their at 18 not knowing anyone She is still there at age 32 she has been there a long time I don't understand why she pays 3.500 she has 2 roommates that pay the same amount When she could save so much money if she didn't live there I've been to NY I'm not going back Maybe some day you can get a bigger bus But the one you have is wonderful I'm following your son He is adorable

Love your bus tour I’m trying to make up My mind I want to sell my house I’m a widow and 70 yrs old and I just want to travel and see things and enjoy life have a little fun so it’s bus conversion, cargo trailer conversion, tiny house, I’m not into any of the new motor homes I feel if you don’t build it yourself than you can expect it to be junk snd not last but I do love your bus build and hey if it works fir you all and you are happy that is all that matters, thank you for sharing

Hey Laura. I think you would enjoy a modern van conversion (Promaster, Transit etc.) or an older Class C motorhome built on an E350 van maybe. Traveling full time for most is more enjoyable without too huge of a rig. Like this one here.
