The thing is, i mostly listen to classical music, 99% from Mozart, but this song, this is just something different, even if its nowhere from classical. Music for me isnt an everyday event, i sometimes become addicted, and then let it go for another 3-5 years. Ive listened to skrillex almost all the time when i was in elementary, and only skrillex. I remember a lot of music he made, but this, this is the only one i keep listening year after year, and i was so happy when this song was running through my head a year or two ago, so i could save it for later. Im back again in 2024, and this is insane how much time passes. I was just looking at the old pictures from 10 years ago, school photos, and if that wasnt enough nostalgia, this is the cherry on the top. Well done Skrillex, you've made something special. Nobody can only mimic this feeling what this song gives, and the clip just matches the whole vibe, it feels 100% complete. Impressive to think about that almost everyone who is in the video, has children, family, a life, and not this type of lifestyle anymore. Damn, i love life, but sometimes i just wish i could travel back for just a moment in time.

I remember watching this video for the first time, just a few hours after it first dropped. I was only 12 or so, and I wanted so desperately to hang out with these people in the video and just go on crazy adventures with them. Now, I'm finding that, that hasn't changed one bit. Such a calming, beautiful song that has not only nostalgic value for me and by the looks of it, many others that continue to revisit this song, but elicits feelings inside me that make me so calm and at ease. This song is the final icing on the cake that is representative of why I consider Bangarang to be one of the best EPs of all time.

This song came out at the end of 2011, I remember being very heavy into dubstep at the time and when this song came out it was practically on repeat constantly. Just such a switchup from all the other dubstep I listened to at the time. 2011 - 2012 Was my freshman year of high school. Now i'm sitting here, about to turn 27 and reminiscing on the good days. I never kept in contact with any of the buddies I used to chill with and listen to this stuff with, and I figured out a while ago that that's okay. My current friends are into dubstep and indie music too and it was so nice to re-live some of my past by listening to this. Hang in there y'all! Reflection of the past can be painful but you just gotta focus on the good times now and the ones to come!

I watched this when i was a kid. I thought when i got older, id get to be part of something like this too, with friends, and not be an outsider. I'm a few years from 30 now and it never happened.
