I spoke with Skrillex for almost an hour, back when he still went by Sonny Moore. I was old enough to be his mom, but was still happy and overjoyed to meet him. I had taken my two daughters up to a concert in Allentown and was waiting for them outside...I couldn't take the crowd or the mosh pit. When my girls came outside, I told Sonny that they loved his music and it helped them through some hard times. He was humble and human and took the time to meet them, talk with them and take pictures with them too. He has my sincere respect. Thank you.

I feel you, last time I saw him in person, he was just about to do a show in Vegas. Skrillex is a chameleon artist, that's what makes him so great. He does what he wants and he doesn't give a shit what people think about it. So many people want him to go to his "old style", but the truth of the matter is.... he never really had a solid style to begin with. He incorporates a lot of different elements into his music, and prior to his Dubstep entry he started off doing Electro-House. Just chill and let the man explore new sounds ^_^

Sometimes I wish Skrillex had pursued this style of music more, he always was an amazing chameleon artist and everything he branched out to experimentally was gold. But in my opinion this is one of his best works he tried. I don't even know what genre of music this could be classified under, it's almost something of its own.

What a beautiful piece of video. Such a youthful and welcoming scene we have here. It’s like a bunch of kids without parents and guardians that found a warehouse full of a family of orphaned kids. They all get along, no matter their age, and love eachother. They have fun all the time and live everyday. They never let anyone get in the way of them and their siblings and will do everything to protect them.

I know that a lot of these kids are probably really poor or orphans or something along those lines so I think the video reflects their lives in a weird way as well.

I've been struggling with my mothers illness and this song is really helping me. She abandoned me as child and it hurt me for most of my life. I finally got to be in her life after highschool. only to find out she had a drug problem and left to get clean but the damage had already been done. now she has syrosis of the liver and I watch her life slowly slip away day by day. as a musician myself I get shit on from time to time. people comment you're fat or I hope you die on my channel. Skrillex gets a lot of hate.. but he is a phenomenal musician. I was a fan of From First to Last all through highschool. Thank you for all the hard times you've helped me through Sonny. You know I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for you.

This always makes me weep. I always connected with the words of the song. I have been in the flames and in the dark. The darkness wasn't a hindrance, rather it was the thing that made me strong. Profound track! The lyrics and music are so amazing, and have different interpretations and ideas. Skrillex kills it as always. The vocals are so great, and have a very unique timbre. This is still mindblowing 5 years later! Definitely better than the original in my opinion. I think the instrumentation and tempo just fit it's themes much better.

Hermosa canción, esta canción me recuerda al Skrillex de antes cuando era mejor que hoy! Claro tiene varias canciones buenas de hoy, pero era mucho mejor del 2012 para abajo y pues sería bueno que siga de esta forma o la mejorara para el otro año, que ya el trap me tiene aburrido y mas en Jack Ü ojala ya no toquen trap y que sean sonidos puros para el próximo año que regrese el buen Dubstep de Skrillex 👽 💀 👾
