Graveyard Shift is getting slept on here, she has many of the same benefits as Kill Joy (Trauma Center, instant revival through the PA) while also providing more consistent recovery with the heavy regen on kill. She is also more usable on point than Kill Joy with her curse and heal block

killjoy can be use while on gold but you have to upgrade graveyard to dia or she will just die in front of 50k players and hence we lose our streak so no thanks...

@@zorosantoryu5426 Kill Joy may be doing the exact same thing at any rarity but at the end of the day she only prevents failure. Graveyard has elements of preventing failure while also rewarding success with the heavy regen on kill, which may seem worse to lower level/skill players but to more experienced players is very valuable.

@@zorosantoryu5426 he's not wrong. As a noob you'd probably heavily rely on her SA but once you get variants like Surgeon General and Graveyard Shift you'll realise that her PA works even better and these two variants also have offensive abilities. KJ's only use imo is to die.

Lethal Weapon has a near infinite combo loop with the use of ice shot. You start with a juggle, 1st shot, swipe up, 2nd shot, then dash attack and 3rd shot (the ice one). This incapacitates the opponent, giving you time to reload and start the cycle again. PS: Against certain characters like Beowulf you can't use the dash attack after the 2nd shot and have to skip to the 3rd. Also it's a bit tricky to pull off near walls so be careful.

Soul crusher is very good, but you also forgot to mention that she gives the opponent an easy guard break, while having deadeye (as i remember, but the guard break thingy was true) although your comment is also very useful!

Toad Bella is a solid investment Killjoy, while I see her value as a safety net, Graveyard is IMO better to invest. Rose: Surprisingly useful, I still believe Wunder and Rose had her tiers reversed F Friday: The *Only* silver Painwheel basically (although Elsa Painwheel is useful for rifts) T Threat: Came out of left field but the arguments for her are solid Doublilicious: See Freaky above B Valentine: An oldie but a goodie Rock Star: Kinda weird when BMF exists but she's useful P Dark: After the Dahlia Dimitrescu nerf she will be ine of the go-to curse variants Lethal Weapon: Easy Bleeds, either her or Soul Crusher are solid choices.... _....the least we talk about DoomDahlia the better...._

Why would Purr go up in value after the nerf if UHost still retains her status of one of the best curse (THE best, imo) variants? What she'll lose is the hex. Also BMF and Rock Star are completely different variants, not sure what you're comparing there. But I do agree, BMF is a much, much more solid investment than Rock Star.

@@choriflanero purr would definitely be usable... because previously hex would disable her ability to inflict curse+deathmark...but now it'd be very useful to disable Uhost's marquee of regen&haste on crit which is the most annoying side of Uhost

Id like to give an honorable mention to Gang Green, my bae of all time. It's hard to get a body in the corner but once you can get a body and camp it, you're guaranteed so much free health and meter the opponent literally can't fight you - especially for Squiggly variants who can all force unlockables with Inferno or Battle Opera. Worst case, you can literally have her on as an emergency play like Kill Joy - but unlike Kill Joy, she kills your opponents instead of resurrecting teammates. Gotten so much value out of her that way - was 100% worth the gold

Yea I REALLY enjoy her. If she stands still in the corner over a dead body, infinite health and meter. If she runs around the stage fighting, she builds meter super fast.....so either way she gets her BB3 in no time

@@daywalker3735 Like, I keep seeing people be like "oooo mid silverrr she's just another air meter control fighter" - bro, my opponent hasn't seen the light of day since Gang Green tagged in. Her miasma is easier than anyone elses especially considering how meta intercept gameplay is (where now you can just wait ON THE BODY and intercept to get reward), you get stacks like nobodys business unlike Vaping Wave Midsen who everyone hypes up despite being weaker than night terror post-buff, and unlike the other air meter fighters you not only get unfathomable amounts of meter, your opponent literally can't play the game and suffers from steroid bio-exorcist syndrome. And that's her average WITHOUT SUPPORTS. Like, bro, I get it - Bloody Valentine good eliza, but just... gang green it. It's not too hard. It's really consistent if you can just fight the AI with one character and tag in when you kill em.

Definitely nice to get an update to this list! I think 2023 updates for all of these would be nice, but totally get that it's a lot of work! I form my own opinion, but I do think pretty highly of yours and it's nice to get insight into variants I may have never even thought about

I'd like to give an honorable mention to Souls Sister. her SAs work alot like Toad Warrior's, except for being far away from the enemy rather than up close. Plus pretty easy way to stack 5 enrages along with the meter/health draining capabilities of Fukua's kit. All this can allow her to absolutely destroy high defense teams (arguably better than some enrage stacking fire diamonds) while having the self-sustain from said kit to remain healthy.

i think that soul crusher also deserves a place in this video, she has easy access to deadeye (without any moves,blockbusters) and gives easy armor break to the opponent, while having deadeye, even tho lethal weapon is a great bleeder like bad hair day and others, i think that a deadeye spammer (soul crusher black dahlia) is much better since deadeye is a strong buff and also one of my favs, once again soul crusher deseved a place in this video aswell, but this is a very useful video and for begginers and for people who dont know what silver to invest, thank you for this amazing video, have a great day🌹

Another video request would be to breakdown the monthly prize fights(currently Sun of a beach) on who to use, who to avoid using, best defense team, and how to navigate/interpret the fight modifiers. I'm a casual F2P and struggle memorizing who is best for what...these videos you do are invaluable and always get me to want to play again or try something that works. Constantly losing sucks lol

Won't agree with Rock Star and Triple Threat being there, I won't call them must have silvers, they're niche, but overall yes. I would add Ninja Star and Bad Ms Frostie there instead in my opinion. Edit: Kill Joy feels kinda outdated, Graveyard shift is best silver Valentine imo.

Kinda wouldnt agree with graveyard shift being the "best" valentine, shes ranked with kill joy and surgeon general as the best valentines in the GAME (in the whole game, i read that in google) and kill joy and graveyard shift are both the best silver vals and best vals overall in the game

Vintage Virtuouso is arguably one of the most powerful big band in terms of offensive capabilities, although it's ability is similar to Sax where the more combo you do the more powerful it hits it's main selling point is being able to inflic guard break, which is a really powerful debuff as not only it allows you to chain combos from blocking opponents, it also pairs well with Band's prestige which allows your attack to be unblockable, it really increases your chance of being more offensive, and last but not the least, precision although critical hits and enrage are really low for Big Band due to his nature of being a low base damage variant, it also negates the death abilities if you use a tier 3 blockbuster like Tuba2 which grants precision on the 20th hit, then uses the precision on the 21st guaranteeing you to negate the defensive ability of the opponent

You should pay attention to soul crusher- black dahlia, she's pretty insane when the opponent has buffs on them, she helps me defeated model leader and heavy metal so easily once i turned her into a diamond. With the right build, she could handle any variant i guarantee 😁

Rose Tinted can also be used offensively very effectively combined with Unfazed, who benefits from thorns, and Djinn Frizz, that likes to have more buffs to convert into enrage

Triple threat? I mean sure the invincibility is cool and all but the destruction pillar spam can be done with any Annie and Harley for similar or better results. Personally would've chosen soul crusher over her for the very fact that she's strong and has an easily obtainable deadeye which is great against the annoying variants new players struggle with (Model Leader, Vaporwave Vixen, Untouchable, That's All Folks, Armed Forces)Plus shes a Dahlia.

The potential infinite invincibility slows her to counter the reflect META, you may not see her value yet but as you get further in rifts she becomes infinitely more valuable.

NGL silver and gold variants are lot in number with some having distinguished use. I would've put Ikling, Purrminator, GShift, BMF and many more. As I said many variants are good and have their use its hard to pick best ones.

Realistically, you could have included any of the silver Dahlia's and it would have been good-her kit is so unbelievably loaded, its hilarious. I'm trying to invest in them, but, well..Kinda hard when I'm trying to level up my Psycommander's marquee lol. (Seriously, how did Black Dahlia get such a loaded kit?!)

Can't wait for the Bronze variants version, where you just flat say "yeah so both dahlia variants are good go crazy", haha.

Kill joy and Graveyard shift are both good, their ranked to be the best silver vals together, and also w/ surgeon general their ranked to be the best vals in the game, so i dont understand why people think that graveyard shift is better than killjoy when their both the best silver vals, and best vals overall in the game🤷🏼‍♀️

Dont u think the drop rate of diamond keys in the cabit in the treasure(rift coins) earea went really down hill lately? That was the only way for none high rankers to obtain diamond keys...so if its true i think its a big issue

Why choose? Build both. Freaky is better on offense but Twisted is pretty good on defense in rifts with Frost Armor and Don't Poke the Buer.

1. Idk bout blonde variants 2. I think it's 6-7 years old now. Most people are f2p. There's going to be a battlepass announced and that might be worth buying depending on the content. Can't advise anything more than that 3. Not that active. It's not the main component of the game. There's a small pvp community if you're interested but the main game: Skullgirls 2nd Encore is better for pvp.

Not KJ tho, she just does what EVERY other valentine can do without dying; she also has rlly bad status and can be easliy countered by a switch of characters of the AI, chars who can use precision normally such as ms.fortunes, windswept, star shine or tag-outs. She's REALLY shitty for a valentine.
