Seeing how this mod was made by Fant, it feels like this is supposed to be used with his Wings mods. Whether or not you choose to use it, please continue this series!

@rylenstuffsv2 he actually does link to a few additional optional mods you can add, including his propulsion mod which has wings. So not exactly a mod pack, but it seems like it was definitely made with a few of his other mods in mind :D

We would love to see you continue this series. I know the grind can be tedious but don't rush through it, exploring all the islands and building bridges / devices to launch yourself is a lot of the fun.

26:30 - if you are seated in a vehicle, you can survive any fall height. So you can make a simple board/seat contraption for dropping down long distances.

this is untrue. fant is narcissistic and he thinks that he makes the game better than the devs do. It's literally the devs's creation, whatever they do is objectively the right way to do it because it's coming from their own imagination. Fant has added things in his mods that almost counteract certain features that the devs put in. And whenever anybody brings these things up, he and his fans complain to no end.

@@ThePhonax you should lookup what narcissistic means because he is not. he says allways he is a normal person, he doesnt seek attention, he gets the attention because of his mods that alot of people like. also he makes the stuff as first for himself. and to be fair, he fixed some bugs with his mods that the devs didnt. if you dont like things he made, you dont have to use them.

I would not use the craftbot as a defense, even though it has high durability, because the larger a block is, the higher the durability. However, this does not make it actually more durable, like with the vending machines or the udder things. Those things die instantly

im pretty sure it has so much defence that bots can not destroy it. the durability meter DOES work on large parts but it is only as strong as one giant block. if one part of it would get destroyed, the whole thing does. thus, craftbots may be a good defence

It's nice seeing a new scrap mechanic survival series...maybe. Also, if this is the same as the fant survival mod's sky islands(on normal map), then everything you build on one island is one creation. I gotta try it ! - - UPDATE - - ! I tried it and I'm correct. So, everything you build an island is one big creation interconnected. The good thing, or maybe bad thing, depends on how you look at it, it doesn't connect to other islands. Basically, one island is one big creation, you could say

Hey ScrapMan, one tip for the crops. When they are just about to sprout you can skip a few minutes by throwing water at it again. I´m not sure exactly when you can throw it to make it happen though, I just know it´s near the end

I absolutely love all of fant's mods, and I'm pretty sure your supposed to use some of his other mods with this one. His main modpack has a bunch of automation and some stuff that makes flying vehicles much more efficient and easier to build (props, hoverpads, gyros). Absolute S tier mods. I highly recommend to install some of those and if you need any help his mods on his discord server are always happy to help anyone who asks.

50/50 chance that it instantly dies, exploding all the things at his base, or survives, breaks a bunch of stuff and still explodes all the things....either happens or it doesn't 😅

Play that map in multiplayer to make it easier to expand, to team on bots, and to revive clutch to get to the lower islands easier.

tbh sometimes I wish minecraft didn't let you walk to the edge of a block when crouching because there are so many times where you'll get used to that and then a bug will happen or you'll get distracted, you'll stop crouching, and then you fall off, and in some of the skyblock style maps and modpacks you wouldn't get to just fall off, if you did you'd lose everything and basically have to start from scratch, keep inventory is nice, but you used to have to enable cheats to turn that on

Please use the bubble plastic blocks instead of wood for bridging, because it's made with the oil, and therefore does require constant expansion, allowing you to use wood for things that are more important than bridges.

From what I have seen of sky block playthroughs the goal is usually to obtain resources through obscure game mechanics and build humongous bases while the fear of death and item loss looms over every step

For transportation between islands: If you want a real challenge, you could build catapults on every Island. This only really works for personal transportation though. Your character can fairly safely miss the mark and drop off - unless you die and then fall off. But any blocks that you miss with are lost, so anything you want to bring along (building materials for another catapult) has to be in your inventory (or in other words, you realistically won't be able to bring craft bots to other islands).

Something to note you can store any bot with the save feature in custom games. Put a craftbot on the lift and hit the remove/delete button and it should put it in your inventory

For transport a monorail system might be a good idea for moving around heavy machinery. Might be a bit risky though if scrap mechanic collision isn't good enough to stop the vehicles from clipping through the rail though. And non-straight line movement might be hard to achieve

You could make a monorail between alot of islands, doesn't seem too hard compared to building bridges and making flying vehicles and it doesn't require that many blocks to make compared to the other options either. If you make it detachable then you can use it for mining too.

Love the world, and cant wait to see more videos of it, but I would think this pack would be intended to use the Fant mod also, since it adds multiple flying options. Also fant mod has things like saplings and automated methods to get almost every resource.

for the vehicle if u could make pathways to the islands, it might be a hassle but a train could work and the pathways as tracks, which u might have to make 2 tracks in that case, a track that goes to the higher islands and a track that goes to the islands that are downwards, and if there are pistons in that survival, u could make a car you would just need to make a elevator system to reach the different heights of the islands

12:10 you could probably make a hi-rail vehicle. Have train rails between islands then retract the spokes when you get to land or a junction.

You could try a Jumping Vehicle, assuming your craft spawns with you when you spawn back at base.

I’m unsure if i like this as a series, it seems gimmicky but i love and watch every video you do, so if you enjoy it I’m probably going to enjoy it too.
