It was a special day on Sky One, the first day of the new autumn schedule, their first under then-new Sky One brand focusing on the UK market. 21 Jump Street promoted here was the first of several premieres of new prime-time series (some British premieres, some new to Sky only): 21 Jump St. (Sun, 3.9.), ALF (Mon, 4.9.), Rich Man, Poor Man (Wed, 6.9.), Moonlighting (Thu, 7.9.), Riptide (Fri, 8.9), Wiseguy (Sun, 10.9, then moved to Thursdays after Moonlighting) Falcon Crest (Wed, 13.9) and Hunter (Mon, 18.9, then moved to Fridays after Riptide). All dramas except Falcon Crest had special 2-hour premieres.
