My cat did this nearly every night! Then I'd call to her, and she'd chirp happily and come trotting down the hallway for cuddles. I miss that sweet little jerk.

My sister's cat would walk around meowing with my sisters sock in her mouth anytime her."mom" wasn't there. So funny 😂

She was looking for her babies. Someone to play with. My cat Chloe does this when she’s looking for her sister Izzy.
