One upgrade I would immediately suggest is replacing the jaws with a proper vixen set. The replacements will hold the telescope more safely and not far the scope's own bar.

Very Cool Pawan, it's a shame it's the same outside. Brrr Looking forward to seeing what it can do. Please couple it up with the SVbony camera and do things in the warm house laptop for images and big tablet ( old eyes ) bifocal bear style.! Or Is that just me being soft in my old age lol. Hate breathing on my bifocals "frosty fog".

OK. Please tell people to align the top arrow on the mount head to any one of the 3 top screws so that it will bite into a notch (look carefully at the mount head arrow). What does the bottom arrow on extension pier do? I can only think of making them align with the top arrow so that you know which direction is north when you use the tripod? I also wanted to put this here from Part II so that people pay attention. This isn't mentioned anywhere in the manual: "Another important thing is that there needed to press "up" and "right" alignment buttons before position confirmation. At least at the Skywatcher mount."

Thanks for this video. I am considering buying this to do casual observation, and maybe planetary imaging. My question is can it be used for planetary imaging (and lunar for that matter) without attaching the equatorial wedge? And if so, what software can be used with it to accomplish this without too much fuss? Thanks again.

Thanks for watching! This little scope is too small for moon or planets. You need larger aperture in the range of 130mm to 200mm or more. And that means you need a heavy duty mount as well. Cheers!!

This mount has a payload capacity of only 11 lbs (about 5 kg). You need to see if the weight of the scope and accessories (camera, etc) are within this limit. Cheers!!

I believe that the GTi comes with dual encoders (freedom find technology). The mount does not loose it’s alignment if you déclutch and manually move the mount. Thanks.

@@AstroCrescentDIY I have a question, how can my SVBony 503 80ed SCBONY be able to insert into the AZ GTI Skywatcher? SV 503 has a weight of 4kg, with accessories and camera about 6kg ... AZ GTI load maximum load is 5 kg ... TKank You bro

Sorry, I was not aware of the total weight of your imaging rig. If it’s over 5kg, it’s better NOT to use AZ-GTi mount. It’s better that you use some other equatorial mount with at least 10kg capacity. Thanks.
