Lake Hamana (Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture), where many flowers bloom in accordance with the warm climate, hosts the Lake Hamana Flower Festa 2023, and one of the main venues, Hamamatsu Flower Park, has 1,300 cherry trees and 500,000 tulips in full bloom, creating a spring scene.
There are many flower attractions around Lake Hamana, and you can enjoy a relay of flowers such as cherry blossoms, tulips, nemophila, wisteria flowers, roses, and irises starting from the plum blossoms in February, called the "Lake Hamana Spring Flower Relay".
