Even to this day, I find it both a little sad and hilarious that Frank Grimes was the most calm, normal, hardworking, and sane person in the world, and the only thing that broke him was Homer being so much more fortunate than him, and that nobody cared about how lazy or hopeless he truly is

I think it was more of Grimes trying to get people to care about the fact that Homer's an idiot, and the lack of caring from others is what broke him This is a guy who spent much of his life scraping for every nickle and dime through diligence and hard work ethic, after getting a job at the power plant ends up meeting someone whose accomplishments are largely (if not entirely) credited to sheer dumb luck

@@MrSophire yeah, that's part of why I don't feel too bad for him, he was consumed by the hatred and jealousy towards Homer's sheer dumb luck Genuinely, I feel Frank could've saved his sanity had he just let it go, especially since the people he tried to raise awareness of Homer's idiocy are so used to it that they're either numb to it or straight-up stopped caring to avoid going insane themselves I apologize if that was a mouthful, but I wanted to expand my earlier comment in a way

Seeing villains being defeated in cartoons is satisfying, amazing, astounding cruelly cool, a masterpiece, arguably & stupendously badass. If I came up with a cartoon villain who is this powerful enough like William Cipher and gotten folded like an omelette with something massive thing that would be unfolding to the antagonist, that would be super badass. Was Frank Grimes really a villain? I always felt bad for him. 9:31 Also, she didn't even get defeated. Sure, the kids sorta prevailed over her, but that was a temporary victory until Homer and Marge let her escape with their stuff.

To this day I'm still annoyed by that first Bob defeat just cause Bart does actually figure out something that solves the case but he doesn't actually say what it was instead going on about how good hearted people have small feet and then the cops go and arrest Bob based on that alone.

OK 4 Thing’s 1. I really really liked the ending of the video saved the best Simpsons villain defeat for last and 2. I think Russ Cargill is the greatest villain that The Simpsons has ever had and who knows maybe he might make a come back in The Simpsons Movie 2 and 3. Fun fast Russ Cargill is voiced by Albert Brooks and he also voiced Hank Scorpio in Season 8, Episode 2: “You Only Move Twice” and 4. Skyfaller3D why didn’t you include Hank Scorpio in the video?

Frank had an irrational hatred for Homer Simpson. Homer tried to be nice to him, but Frank threw that kind gesture back in his face. If he hadn't accidentally electrocuted himself, he likely would have turned into a full blown insane supervillain, and tried to blow up the entire power plant.
