In pve windcatcher gives you 14 vortex stacks instantly, also for single target you should end with enraged harpy instead of going back to earth stance and using lotus strike. Also sometimes prefer to use earth triangle to group enemies over wind square triangle, or a combination of both for larger, more split up groups. It's also a crowd control so it increases damage through "damage to stunned targets" stat.
