I have one of these hubs, I have a query: do these routers have a built in modem?

When I changed to router it would not connect with several equipment when it worked with my old sky Q . I had to get some engineers to sort others .I still can’t get Alexa dot or my more expensive canon printer . I talked to sky help as the signal was worse than before and eventually gave me a sky pod . It works but still not as good as sky Q . Wish we had never had it

Will my digital voice BT HDVoice phones connect to the Sky Max Hub when I switch this month? And is there a WPS button, can't see one on the back or base.

Hi there Richard 👋 I would love to help. Does your digital voice phone currently plug into your master telephone socket? There is a WPS button on the Sky WiFi max hub and can be found at the side of the hub.

I've got sky max WiFi hub thing, but the ps4 keeps saying it's not connected and keeps losing signal, tv in sitting room works great, but sky said the router should connect anything in the property, I live in a bungalow

Hi there Simon 👋 as long as you have an ethernet cable, you can connect a Hive system to the Sky Broadband hub.

Hi there 👋 Sorry to see that you've not received your activation date for your broadband services being activated. Have you tried logging into your online Sky account here: www.sky.com/ordertracking to see if a date is showing for your broadband services going active?

Sky needs to stop this nonsense. Why can’t I change my ssid from the router portal? Worse, I have to plug the damn thing for hours for me to be able to see it in MySky so I can change my ssid. During that time I cannot connect to the baby monitor that needs WiFi nor to the security system which also needs WiFi. Should I change all those to your new random name sky? Why change what was working.

@@skyhelp1 it is no longer possible to change the ssid via the router portal. You now have to use the mysky app. The my sky app does not show the router straight away on first connection. It takes hours. Over night for me. I needed to change the ssid and password to my old router’s ssid and password. This is to avoid having to reconfigure the WiFi for every device in the house. Now, since it takes hours for the router to popup in the mysky app, I had to sleep with all my devices, including my security system and baby monitor offline. I could not even use the old router as an access point and connect it to the new router neither. You are forcing people to reconfigure their devices to your defaults for the first few hours of connecting the router. This is horrible UX for zero benefit. Now if I do not have a phone or tablet I cannot configure my router. Why?

@@skyhelp1 I do not need help anymore. I am complaining about the fact that I need to either wait hours to be able to configure the SSID and password or use the one you supply by default. You should be giving me a link to the user voice/suggestion/feature requests or something.
