The reason why despite being released in 1989 for the R32 against the R33 in 1995, the R32 is more picked by tuners. When the R33 was launched, it was wider and way heavier than the R32 and that caused so much row from the Japanese tuner and weirdly enough, due to the weight and length, the car was sort of a rolly polly thing going on plus it's not blistering faster than the R32 around the Nurburgring thus many tuners shun away from it. However, the R34 took the learning they got from the R33 and stuck back the old principal of the R32 for keeping it short but still powerful thus the formula proved that it works. Because of this, many people picked the R32 and R34 for the same reason, weight and length. However, that does not mean everyone disliked the R33. Due to the length, it's extremely helpful in high speed straights and if you look up the actual database and records kept by the notorious Midnight Club, the only cars that can throw the 964 Turbo off it's throne was the R33 and the fastest speed it recorded was on the Yokohama line with a speed of 312 Km/h which was not clocked by any R32 or R34 despite even having more power than the tuned R33. The R33 that had that record was reported to only have around 640BHP while no other GTR that tried to break that record managed to do it.

Actually, I didn't know that bit about the R33 holding the Yokohama line speed record. But. The R33 had SIGNIFICANT changes over the R32, and while it did gain weight, it's actually lighter than the R34. And while power wasn't upped, they used a turbo design based off a supposed Mid Night Racing Team's aftermarket system, and with pure revisions, set the 1st production car lap around the 'ring in under 8 minutes, which was 21 seconds faster than the R32. Thus Nissan actually launched a Commercial highlighting this, calling it the 21 second dream. And funny thing about the R34, is that it was supposed to have a V6, but Nissan was starting to run out of money, so they couldn't afford to produce it. Over the R33, there were surprisingly few tweaks that the R34 had, only being aero, a computer-based ATTESSA E-TS instead of the mechanical systems, the famous dash TV, and possibly suspension retuning but don't quote me on that.

The R33 is the most bang-for-your-buck Skyline! The R34 is the one everybody wants so be prepared to spend lots for just a decent one. You want one in mint condition? You're no millionaire! GTFO! The R32 is a very old car and finding a proper maintained with not a lot of miles on it is very difficult. It also as the reputation as the OG Godzilla so the same conditions as the R34 applies. So that leaves you with the R33. There're all pretty much the same car. Same engine. Same AWD system. And since it is the car nobody wants you can find them for a relatively good price. Most underrated Skyline ever! The R33 model also gave us the 400R. Now why would people hate the R33? ;)

The R31 (even the top-of-the-line GTS-R, no GTR) was RWD, and was definitely not as quick as the later models, but it was the last R with a 4-cylinder engine, so it has collectability similar to the R32 and R34. I learned that from Tokyo Xtreme Racer Drift 2 LOL.

Haha you're actually right! XD On some cars, like in this case the R32 GT-R, there are no bodykit/spoiler etc. options… I mean for the R32 GT-R and a lot of other cars which are in the same case, there are a lot Tuning parts, but Playground Games/Turn 10 don't put anything in there… and they have the license of most tuning brands, which some cars in the game have parts from them to customize, but others don't…why?! :/
