Speaking on the infected blood report, he says "we will be taking the report of Sir Brian Langstaff very seriously" and "we recognise that what has happened should never have happened".

This man as recently as the 5th December 2023 voted against ensuring compensation is paid to these people as early as possible. Sunak and Co all voted against and it only passed because 22 Tories found a backbone.

The regular payments are being taken away and the compensation used for regular payments or lump sum and no more regular payments. This means people will have to use compensation to give themselves monthly payments which effectively means no compensation. Both Sir Robert and Sir Brian recommended monthly payments for life. The fight hasn't ended. 😡
