Sky News host Rita Panahi reacts to a new Star Wars show getting the Disney treatment and going “fully woke”.
One of The Acolyte’s main stars Amandla Stenberg came out as non-binary in 2016 and uses she/they pronouns.
Alongside Stenberg, many other stars of the show identify as LGBTQ+, with an interviewer dubbing it possibly the “gayest Star Wars by a considerable margin”.

BBC started the downfall and then when Disney took over Dr Who,it got worse. I don't think I have seen a Stars War movie or a Dr Who in a long while. do you know the courses that they give? could be that they just use funky names attract certain people. The actual courses that are in a degree are almost always focused on the specific skills that help you in your work. So studying black political economy is focused on the policy analysis and Business ownership just like normal economy studies. They just give 2 or 3 extra courses to attract people that are interested in the historical context and land ownership. however I do indeed think that some degrees put to much of these kind of courses in them that will make studying them very specific and a market niche that may never take off.

Loved the original 3, struggled with the next ones, now I’m DONE. I will never watch, participate in, but mech from or share anything of these new child misleading fake movies. These aren’t Star Wars, these are pervert promoting propaganda films. Star Wars is dead to millions of us. EDIT: It's so good to see how many people feel the same way. I, too, am glad I was raised on the originals, although it does kind of make me feel sorry for kids today, they don't get the same feelings we were able to share as kids. I loved the first 2 trilogies. Not perfect but clearly Luca's work. The only good Disney Star Wars is Rogue One which is a really great movie full of obvious love for the original Star Wars. It's so different to everything else Disney I see it separately. They would not make this movie today

Loyal fans are burying this show on both Rotten Tomatoes and IMDB yet critics are praising it. Rolling Stone posted a negative review which was very quickly deleted. Seeing Star Wars in 1977 in a theater was an experience that nobody born in the year 1990 or latter will ever experience.
