Easier said than done. IDK where youre from but in the US most likely they have a full ride sport scholarship, typically to Universities theyd never be able to afford otherwise. If they do anything to get them kicked off the team or these days do something political the Uni doesnt like, their scholarship gets cancelled. Fellow Canadian here-- this country is a dystopian shithole. I was recently at an event with my husband and our tween son. The event was predominantly male, no issue here. I'm not uncomfortable around men, I don't believe everything is the evil patriarchy, I teach at a 90%+ male attended uni, and I'm no slouch myself. As a 6'1", 153 pd woman. Im good. I went to a the washroom and closed the main door. So, pants around my ankles, doing my business, a man comes in, starts chastising me for closing the door, and coming into the washroom. I was horrified at his lack of respect and the fact that he thought that he gets to decide my level of privacy in comfort in my space, and I definitely felt threatened. No sense of boundaries. The rest of the event I had my husband, a tall and broad man himself, stand outside the door if I had to use the washroom. I went and bought bear spray and it's now out and primed if I'm going into a women's washroom. You come in, you're a man, don't care how you identify, don't care what you're there for, you get what you get. I'm done with this shit.
