Personally, Grog's 'I will f*cking murder EVERYONE!' Is, hands down, the best line delivery so far.

The "what is this hell!?" just got me... after seeing all of that shit not having ale is what finally made Grog to lose his mind.

I've been commenting on these like crazy lol, but I got another fun fact for ya. The Duke that's introduced in the interrogation scene, the Goliath, is voiced by Rory McCann. He's the guy who plays The Hound on Game of Thrones. Great dude, and an awesome actor and voice actor. I'm really glad they're getting other voice actors in on this as well. I would not mind at all of Matt did all the NPCs, but it's exciting to me to hear someone's voice and be like "wait, is that who I think it is???" then look it up and find out it is indeed who I think it is. It also helps to really expand the universe, and I think it really helps with the show's roster.

Doors. The bane of Critical Role since 2015 when the DnD campaign started, lol! Concerning Percy and his vendetta, there's an old world saying (that Taelisin probably knows being as immortal as he is -wink nudge lol) "When seeking revenge, first dig two graves." Percy's entire family being murdered by the Briarwoods and their associates left him with not much to live for but vengeance, which poisons a soul (if you beleive in that kind of thing). Then he made friends and gained a new "found family" in VM, returned to Whitestone, found out he wasnt the last of his bloodline....which changed everything for him! It gave him hope he hadnt felt in 6 years since he left home! No spoilers for anyone who hasnt seen the original campaign, but i LOVE a good redemption arc for a relatable human character. No Mercy Percy may be badass, but if Percy continues down that path, his soul will only become more toxic for reasons that will become very apparent as the series progresses. Stay tuned, fam!

I'm telling you, if the briarwoods just put themselves behind the comedies classic door behind a door, behind a door. All of which locked their plans would have gone on without any problems. Hell, Vox Machina would likely still be trying to unlock them by the start of Campaign 3.

As someone who doesn’t have that many people to properly geek out about this IRl it’s really nice to watch you have as much fun and excitement as I felt when watching it 🙌🏻🙌🏻 (don’t get me wrong I got my siblings and two colleagues at work to watch it as well but I feel like they’re not at the peak Critter level of excitement yet 😅 they’ll get there though (one colleague even read the comics and now started listening to the podcast as well ✨👌🏻)

So, when are you going to get excited about this? I haven't seen it yet in you Sky... LOL - I am still waiting on Trinket to go all medieval on some guards!!!

One of the things I like about this is sometimes we get to see the perspectives of characters outside of VM's party, so it jsut expands the story in ways that make sense. So the focus is usually the mains, but Im wondering if in the future we get episodes focusing on Kima, Allura, Uriel, Jarrett, their personal journeys. Probably not, but i think there's a lot there creatively you could go without losing a lot of the focus being on Vox Machin'a members. But that's just me, I tend to focus on the supporting characters as well as the mains. Oh, well. There's always fanfic, too!

What bothers me the most is that Briarwoods kill CHILDREN just to get a point across. That’s pure evil, no redemption ever, Ihatethemsomuchthebastards kind of people. Matt did an awesome job creating these characters! I also hate that there’s actual real world equivalent to them. But I guess the inspiration came from somewhere (or multiple somewheres).
