I like how you name the poisons based on how each venom functions irl

I own the Pets of Skyrim creation club mod and their is a frostbite spider that cant be killed but doesn't fight but gives me stronger spider venom and lays web traps. I roleplay that she is his most favorite spider and would prefer her staying home then risk her being harmed.

Really unique concept and creepy as hell. I've played and read a lot of Skyrim builds but the idea of using the ritual stone to command a legion of spiders is new to me. Really creative idea, and the video is so beautifully produced as always. Great work guys, really happy I stumbled upon this channel.

This is one of my favorite builds by you guys. I do have one recommendation tho: for a free home with lots of alchemy ingredients, try the alchemists shack, south of the throat of the world mountain. Your stuff does not dissappear from there (making for safe storage) and its just the kind of thing a wood elf would enjoy.

Falmer Helmet + Aetherial crown would be cool for this build. Falmer helmet for creepy aesthetic purposes and the Aetherial Crown allows you to recharge ritual stone by unequipping and equipping it back. New in the channel, great content

Even though I know this build is meant for vanilla, the Vokrii perks mod really complements this playstyle. There are perks for additional poison uses on weapons, a perk which gives you a 5% chance to find an imbued spider on corpses, hotwiring Dwarven Spiders, and even using Speech to tame a spider for yourself (which can be combined with the Beastmaster perk and the Imperious Races mod for two permanent spider companions!) Absolutely love the creative and unique spins you guys put on build archetypes! Great content all around!

Voice of the Sky might not be the most fitting thing for a character who needs to kill spiders in order to add them to his ever growing army, but I still very much enjoy having a character who is so comfortable around frostbite spiders, they can walk among the giant arachnids unharmed. Perhaps it would make a good capstone ability for the build...

I love these builds, while outstanding I have noticed that most would greatly benefit from Odinator while not being broken by not being completely vanilla.

Great build, and l love the aesthetic. Even my girlfriend looked over at me watching this and asked; “Who’s that? He’s creepy”. 😂 Nailed it.

The creation club dlc pets of skyrim offers a pet spider that can trap enemies in there webs a very cool addition to this build.

I made a similar but modded build with Vokrii while leaning more into magic/direct combat than sneaking. It turns out that spiders and chauruses are really the best animals to raise, simple because there are so many different varieties with different levels and abilities. For example, we have 4 different variants of vanilla frostbite spiders and 2 variants of vanilla chaurus, Dawnguard magic-clocked frostbite spiders and chaurus fledglings and hunters, Dragonborn spider scrolls, and some of the unique, named spiders like Nimhe or a colossal Chaurus Reaper in the Dawnstar lighthouse. Also, if you are playing modded Skyrim, then so many mods like Gray Cowl of Nocturnal or Moonpath to Elyswer add unique spiders and chauruses, Immersive Creatures even add humanoid chauruses. So much more options, compared to wolves or sabercats. I hate using Ritual Stone mass-resurrect in any Skyrim build because I find that a bit cheesy. So instead, I played with Hunterborn, a mod which lets me carry animal carcasses. And you guessed it, you can literally carry around your dead spiders or make your horse carry it for you, drop it on the ground when needed, and use necromancy on it. Necromancy always has had the problem where you can't carry around corpses. Well, with hunterborn, you kinda can. For magic, I used Warlock spells from Forgotten Magic Redone (Blight Curse, Void Bolt, and Deathly Pall), which have some synergy with fear effect. So I reanimate a giant chaurus reaper, shout dismay so that everybody runs away, and my chaurus and I hunt them down. I didn't use it in my build, but I also think Apocalypse's disease spells or Odin's poison spells could work with the character.

Also one good idea for the build you can buy Pets of Skyrim in creation club, in that quest you can get a spider as your own pet and you can harvest venom from the spider.

The quality is unreal

The spider pet I n the anniversary edition goes really well with this build. absolutely love plan the alchemist in survival would, would recommend if your looking for a survival play through.

Did you mention gear and standing stone for this build? Love this channel. It has brought me back to Skyrim with the anniversary edition

A decent exploit I feel that could help with this build is fortify restoration. Drink a strong one, then put on the amulet of Talos to bring down that cooldown time for Animal Allegiance shout

Aetherial Crown solves this issue with the Ritual Stone.

Ritual stone... Etherium Crown. All you have to do to reset The ritual power is unequip and reaequip the Crown Unless you mean Vanilla with no DLC... In which case hats off To you sir That is as vanilla as it gets

If you have anniversary edition you can get the staff of worms from Gallows hall and resurrect 2 permanent spiders

And I found the staff of the worms is perfect for this

I would rather use one of the falmer insect helmets... With many eyes its a bit more fitting. They also look kinda cool on pointy ear characters. But the whole characters concepts are one of the most creative I have seen

how do you keep the frost bite spiders with you when you fast travel? they dont even apear dead for me.

If only Gabriella was a romance option in Skyrim and was capable of being rescued at the end of the Dark Brotherhood Quest Line. I can imagine the Fell Alchemist would fall in love with her right away after joining the Dark Brotherhood considering she has a pet spider as well.

The elytra nymphs in saints and seducers may work well with this character.

I play this build, with a little upgrade.... Enchanting middle way and smiting arcane Smith, with no enchants on the Weapen, mybow is the forsworn bow for more astetic

With the anniversary edition you can now get pet spiders so they could further this even more, screw it new build here I come

I can't get help but wonder about something: what was your choice for White Phial on Fell Alchemist and why? I'm thinking that it's probably a boost to fighting skills in case you run out of spiders or potions, but maybe there's an option that makes more sense?

You could have put the ritual stone on the atherial crown and used the serpent stone has your base stone.

Also, now that Anniversary Edition is out, you get the spider pet/companion!

You should revisit this character with web mother and pet spider addition from the Anniversary edition

Ill make a version of this that uses mainly pickpocket and a bow for ranged enemies. I wilm use mainly a lingering poison effect with paralysis, they cant move while their health slowly degrades and i just watch them die. So i will use poisons for damage and pickpocket instead of one handed. If i run out of potions my shouts will be used more

This is super late but I just can’t get any of the resurrected spiders to fast travel with me, their bodies just stay wherever i originally was. Devastating cause this build seems so dope but I just can’t build up the ritual stone army

Aetherial crown is better for the build you store the ritual stone on the crown and just take it on and off to cast ritual stone

i used alternate start for this but instead of the vanilla start i chose camping in the woods start.Why? because i roleplayed that the fell alchemist went to skyrim and just camped to find more spiders.

Late to the party again, but Jarin root and river betty for a crazy poison damage (over 1000 damage) to make even worse add crimson nirn root. instant death.

i wouldnt use Marked for Death, its permanent and makes your spiders useless, unless the Black Book Passive makes them immune to damage AND effects

I've actually made a similar build except my build was a modded build that duel wielded axes and was obsessed with cannibalism instead of spiders. The build was a worshipper of Namira and with the mod wintersun faiths of skyrim that meant enemies within 40ft would be applied with a weakness to poison allowing the characters poisons to be truly lethal. Another mod Ordinator perks I was able to make much better use of the potions and poisons I created by making poisons last for more hits and making potions last for significantly longer which was improved further by the summermyst enchantment mod which has an enchantment that increases potion duration. Other mods I used were imperious races, immersive armors, immersive weapons, and a crafting mod which balanced out the vanilla crafting system along side a bunch of other mods that weren't directly involved with the build.
