Tullius has the (strategic) insight, the Nords have the heart and the passion. I don't think there is a "better" choice. Much rather... joining forces is the only choice. You can have troops at full force but if the morale is low, they will still fall in battle.

@@H.K.5 the armies are both made up of local recruits so "better people" isn't really a good way to describe either of them. Some people fight for what they believe in, others fight so they can afford to feed their families. The war is more complicated than just Ulfric and Tullius.

My Dragonborn is an orc and a Stormcloak. Did that yesterday. What's more is that when confront Balgruuf, one of the guards mocked Dragonborn - "Let me guess! Someone stole your sweetroll!"

There was a glitch when Dragonborn killed Vignar and Balgruuf was reinstated back on the throne and still acted as though in exile. "What do you want, milk drinker?"

Balgruuf decided to turn his back on his fellow nords by joining the empire he could have fought with ulfric nut decided to join the imperials he brought this on himself

@@Twilight24682 The Empire has more claim over Skyrim than Ulfric Stormcloak. Skyrim doesn't belong to any one race of people. Even if it did, the only thing it'll belong to without the Empire is the Altmer.

Skyrim isn't free under the rule of the Stormcloaks. They're nord-supremacists who subjugate other races. The White-Gold concordat may have been cowardly, but the Medes are better rulers the Ulfric.

I was fine killing the Imperials but I just can't get myself to kill the Whiterun guards who helped me kill my first dragon. Imagine killing the first people to acknowledge you as a Dragonborn and their hero.
