I had one of my most memorable boss fights against him. I had a mod installed that gave bosses like him a fixed (very high) level. He was so strong that it was impossible to beat him and I actually had to come back at a higher level to beat him.

I find it interesting that Vyrthur summons a frost atronach before battle. He's the only vampire in this game I've seen that summons atronachs before battle. All other vampires only seem to use necromancy as their only form of conjuration.

This video is a masterpiece! Man a lot of things happened movarth punched the hell of the chaurus hunter,movarth chopped laelette’s head off like a fish 🐠 and miraak showed up and said “y’all having a party and I wasn’t invited?”

ANOTHER BO$$ Episode!! The intros (especially miraak's) was WELL done! The punch to face that charus got was hilarious indeed 🤣😂🤣. Vythurth tried to escape and meet his demise was also funny 😂🤣. As for the Dawn Guard and Miraak, those were built to take down vampires and they did a pretty good job. As always keep up the great work!

If I do not want to approach an opponent because I do not have the defence against Magicka and I resort to cheap tricks to win a fight, you know that the enemy is strong. Movarth was one of those ''highest level vampire kind of enemies''. Nightmaster vampires are the strongest normal mook you can encounter. Arch Pyromancer is the strongest kind of wizard you can encounter and his spells are supposed to easily beat a vampire but he doesn't. Vyrthur is a boss stronger than Harkon but loses. You get ridicilious powerfull enemies like Miraak just to score a win against Movarth.

Movarth is one of the toughest bosses I've fought in this game. I usually choose to not to help Morthal take him down because I never feel like dealing with him lol. I love Windstad Manor but the fact I have to face Movarth before I can get Windstad Manor is quite the dealbreaker lol. It doesn't help much either that his vampire buddies are quite tough to tangle with as well lol.

Movarth is really a shame. Before I fought him, I managed to read Immortal Blood which he was in and the book made him sound like a real badass vampire hunter who managed to survive despite the unnamed advisor trying to kill him underhandedly by leaving out crucial life and death info on the vampires he hunts. Then you meet him in-game and he's just some random levelled dungeon boss without a single line of non-generic dialogue. He could've been so much more.

1. Movarth is easily one of the biggest suprises the vanilla game has. The fact that such a strong mini-boss is essentially a spit away from Morthal. Although, lets be fair, a huge part of why he's so tough is also because he has several other Vampire NPCs around him who can swarm you pretty easily. I also appreciate that Bethesda went out of their way to give him a unique appearance with the Dawnguard DLC 2. One one hand I'm disappointed that Isran is so relatively weak for the leader of a Vampire hunting faction, I mean if Celann wasn't there to tank most of the damage he probably would have lost, but it does fit with his lore. Keep in mind, Isran is classified as a *blacksmith* and his skill tree seems to reflect that, add on top of that the fact that he's supposedly past his prime and its understandable why he makes such a point to reform and unify the Dawnguard. Teamwork makes the dream work, as they say lol 3. The 3 did suprisingly well against Miraak. His Fire Breath did a LOT of work but he cut it close by focusing on the raised Alva, who was barely a threat to begin with, and by choosing to go all in with pure damage instead of healing. He was lucky Movarth's AI chose to run instead of going for a Power Attack at the end there too.

Btw, Vampires have a constant "Fortify Unarmed" if you could, make their magicka 0 and see how powerful they are in battles (stronger vampire variants have more powerful Unarmed dmg)

Movarth has minimal armor and yet all those striking swords had minimal damage. Its like he was clad in dragon armor. Pit Movarth against Malkoran next, please.

The punch was indeed savage! Does vyguyher do more mele damage than nightmaster vampire? (If so its because of the enchant on the dagger right?)

I feel like vampires have a very weird divison of power. I mean first harkon was beaten by vyrthrr, then harkon was beaten by a night vampire (forgot which one, probably both), and now vyrther is beaten by movarth. I originally thought harkon was just terrible, but now im thinking vampires have a power level independent of hierarchy.

This explains why movarth is annoying af when you fight him on low levels xD

Fighting movarth feels like fighting nightmaster vampire for me. He is very strong. First time fighting him, he chopped my head about 4 time. Well, my character's head i mean.
