To be fair, it didn't work out too well for the Dwemer when they tried to play god. So I guess there's a reason the school isn't more OP, people are literally too scared to delve deeper out of fear of being thrown into another plane of existence

to me that would be the Illusion school, why create gold when you can just make the merchant think you've already paid him? why going full on telekinesis against orcs when you can cast a mass fury spell? or if you are pacifist, just cast on them a calm spell and talk them into taking their loot into your own dwelling?

Am 30. I managed to grow up getting Oblivion on release date on an xbox 360, and played it on PC with mods a few years later. I'm now playing Skyrim for the second time on PC. The mod community for elder scrolls has always been amazing, and there's always something new I learn about the game every time I play.

Brodual, I've been watching this channel for like seven years. I just want to say every moment has been appreciated. You're objective and measured in your analysis of the mods, and the videos are just a serene experience. You should consider doing voice-over work for a living.

Well cruel sun is literally a spell in the Arcanum mod. (I know it's from 7 sins) This mod's spells are a ton of references to media

Illusion has always been one of my favorite schools of magic; the amount of control and manipulation it gives you is limited only by your imagination. Glad to see it getting some love here.

I've been playing with Odin since its release and I'm having a blast! Two comments to add: 1. A lot of the named spells are from Morrowind, which hit me in the feels and 2. if you're using Odin along with Apocalypse, duplicate spells won't appear in your game, which really cuts down on spell bloat. As mages are already intensely menu driven, I really appreciate this.

i've been watching brodual since early 2012 and even if i don't play skyrim anymore ( i occasionaly play every few years), i still watched brodual video as it remind me of a simpler time, when i would play skyrim on my xbox,watching all the crazy shit that happen on the pc side with envy.
