the music in skyrim is one thing that make me do just do a long ride to an city on my own without fast travel

Last night I was studying for today's exam and went to bed at half past three AM, stressed, exhausted, unable to sleep and wide awake. You know the feeling when you can't study or work anymore but you can't sleep either because your mind just keeps spinning and working, you can almost hear little grinds clicking in your head as your brain tries to process and organise everything. Anyway. I thought I'd try listening to some music. I found this compilation and tried to relax. I think in about 10 minutes I was sleeping like a baby. Thank you so much. It felt like I was in a log cabin somewhere at a Nordic location in the wilderness, surrounded by fjords and pine forests, the sea and the northern lights. Thanks for uploading this awesome compilation of Skyrim music. P.S.: I woke fully rested and aced that exam like a boss ;)

You know, I had this character once - my first "proper" character, got her past level 250. She started out as really naive and sweet, but quickly realized you couldn't get far in the world without being willing to say "screw it" and get your hands dirty. Eventually ended up being one of the most sadistic characters I've ever played with in any game ever. 12:25 started playing once, late at night whilst she was level 274. She'd just come out of a dungeon into the Aurora Borealis and snow, and she found loads of fireflies and lunar moths and started chasing them around, and that bit of music came on and all of a sudden she got this wave of emotion as she remembered the person she'd started out as. She asked me to delete her gamefile right after that. RIP Laria.

Just siting here remembering all the people I chatted with, all the enemies I fought, all the places I discovered, all the story and missions I came across, the memory of Skyrim is still living in my mind Betheda plz release the next TES games as soon as possible because it's a shame that we have a yearly release of many shitty games while we need to wait 6 years to get TES game

We often define or rather confine art as paintings or statues or music. But Skyrim is in my opinion one of the world's greatest pieces of art. It brings you in to a whole new universe, makes you feel emotional attachment to a storyline and characters and truly immerses you in way that can actually alter how you view life. If that isn't art I don't know what is.

This music just goes right through you. I remember places in Skyrim and being moved by how the music added to the whole experience. A masterclass of software and soundtrack. There isnt a day goes by without some of the music goes through my head.

i'm glad this is still up. back in my teen years i'd listen to this to fall asleep. even on the nights where i didn't think i was gonna have any luck, this would always help.

I just love how this music can magically transport me to another world. I close my eyes and it just takes me to the quaint world of Skyrim. I love picturing having a small hunters shack by the lake in the woods. The beautiful nights and the warm and breezy days. This music is so good for when you need to unwind and sleep.

This music remembered me of my first time I played Skyrim... I didn't knew anything and I was pretty sure I would hate this game. (Friends told me to play it, and they play other games than me.) I was very confused and was like "I don't know what's going on!! Help! A dragon! Shit... Hadvar or Ralof?..." But now I just love it. I love every memory of the first time I played it... When Mercer Frey turned into an asshole, when I became the listener, when I saved the whole Skyrim and and and..... Such a piece of art.
