In ancient Nord iconography, Orkey (Malacath) is portrayed as a snake. Perhaps this snake was Orkey in snake form or the snake was an agent of Orkey.

In a world with beings like Mephala and Boethiah able to influence events a snake or assassin seem equally believable.The Ghost Blade might be an artifact of the Dragon Cult since the only similar weapons are found in Labyrinthian.Even in undeath the lovers are formidable warriors,being some of the toughest deathlords you can fight.

the snake could've been some dedra taking the form of a snake or it was a normal snake and someone brought it there to bite them

The whole story up until the burial is pretty much just a better version of Romeo and Juliet. When you look at it in more detail, it seems like a huge portion of TES is real stories and mythologies with adjustments to make them cooler and more interesting. That itself also adds to how good it is since so many people can compare it to other things more easily, and often makes parts of it more memorable, being both familiar and original.

Hello just found your channel as Iv just got back in to eso after many years and I want to stick this sort of content on in the background whilst I farm out some skywards and skill points, where should I start, I basically want to go in chronological order from start to current if that makes sense🤣 I know that’s a broad question and I can see you cover a lot of niche stuff but I basically want to go all the way back and start from fresh in terms of the timeline. Any surgestions really would help thanks

I reccomend checking out my lore playlists per year. And working your way back, I have very little chronological stuff and if I do, then I mention it in yhe video and put a link up to the first part But if you want a place to start you could go with my “best of imperial knowledge” playlist which is curated and on the top of my channel page
