Imagine the Dragons in this Mod replacing the ones in Skyrim. They would be so much more terrifying due to their size being bigger than the vanilla versions.

I'm glad they're following the book storyline. While unfinished it has a lot more consistent quality, and far more characters which will help with quest creation.

That's what I'm saying. I want to meet little Aegon and John Connington. It would be worth playing just to see how they think the story could end. It could have several endings as well, so I think it's perfect!

Beyond Skyrim is my most anticipated mod. Fallout 4 New Vegas is a different game but that's also tied for my most anticipated mod.

The dragon model is incredible. A few textures on the castles look weird to me, a bit too smooth and not as detailed as the rest, but man, i'm looking forward to this release, it's going to be fantastic

I'm fairly certain that they aren't actually textured yet. I'm unfamiliar with that aspect of mod design but they look like place holders to me.

I call that blocking out my object, I start with big squares and slowly add more details, I'm sure there's a team of 3D modelers working tirelessly to create all the different crenulations, windows and buttresses for those castles. Plus the all white smooth castles dont even look to have been given a finished texture other than some sort of initial texture the render engine gives objects when it creates them.

Magnificent! 🤩 It’s not just new lands, towns, characters, and cities, it’s a whole new continent! It’s frankly unbelievable. There’s barely any relation to the original Skyrim and that’s saying something. I hope I’ll get to play this someday. I hope they make Winterfell castle much like what was described in the books instead of the show version. It's supposed to have two giant walls encircling the castle with moats in front of each one.

You should do more of these videos. Projects like apotheosis and beyond Skyrim always need video editors plus you get to make amazing content out of it. Seems like a win win.

@@larum98 true, I just meant that I'm happy for him to do this content. It seems like the modding community has had a bit of a dry spell this year and he hasn't had much content to make videos on. But, these sorts of videos are still entertaining and so I was trying to say that he should keep making this content if he can't find anything else.

@@alexwalters35 That's the problem though. There was a hint, but they were too lazy to develop it. That's if in "The Boys", Once Ryan accidentally killed his Mother, it cut to the future 10 years later and he's suddenly a genocidal maniac. There's subtle foreshadowing, but no required Build-Up. You can't just hint to something, and then skip to it. It's lazy writing. Which is rightfully infuriating for what was such an incredible show with excellent writing, visuals, and acting.

What a fantastic effort! Cheers to the team and everyone involved! From the eraly TES game CS like the one you get with MW to the reimagining of Enderal, Skyrim has truly evolved from a mere modable game to the worldbuilding platform. I was wondering if the continents will be set in their own world spaces (i.e. Skyrim and Solstheim approach) instead of sharing one massive world space to account for the world size to engine load balancing ratio?

It looks pretty early days but there's clearly a lot of foundational work that has gone into this already which is nice to see. I hope it's not going to be at the same level of time to come out as skyblivion but with a mod this size that's probably going to be the case as well. Good luck to the team and I hope they get plenty of talented volunteers.

I was so glad to hear that they take inspiration not from the storyline of the show (because it was garbage from season 5 onwards) but from the books! Ahhh this is gonna be amazing!

@@alendonvaldor5808 Oh my god, no, how can you say that after the self-contradictory Beyond the Wall episode in Season 7? Seasons 5-8 made absolutely no sense, Season 4 was the start of the trouble and I saw it coming a mile away, I only found out in the past year that they scrapped GRRM's final episode screenplay Season 4 Episode 2 (Purple Wedding), but when I saw how the last episode of Season 4 turned out, how they slowed down Stannis and Davos' story and ruined them; killed off Pyp and Grenn for no reason which reduced the depth of the Night's Watch; killed Jojen in the most contrived way and cut through Bran's story to the point that his group wasn't in Season 5 at all, I knew it wasn't gonna turn out well, and it figures that it all started with the Purple Wedding episode
