When you travel, it's always good to have Wi-Fi available at your fingertips, especially if you must need Internet for your business purposes.
I had situations before when I need the Internet, but I had none. Those times I had no idea about Skyroam.
Skyroam is a tiny portable hotspot device that lets you connect to the Internet via cell phone towers in 130+ countries. I am more confident now travelling knowing I can have the Internet in almost most of the places on Earth.
In this video, I will review Skyroam Solis Lite Wi-Fi Hotspot and will show you step by step how to connect for the first time. This is not a paid or affiliated review. Opinions are unbiased and honest.

Maybe this is a stupid question but keep in mind I’m a old sole when it comes to computers and technology at 38 years old so. I have to questions I live in a 3 story house with the modem or main internet hardware so up in my bedroom I have a ps5 with 4K hdr 65" smart tv and it’s impossible to play a online game because of lag. So will this cost me or can it be used to bring my hi speed internet upstairs as some sort of repeater or booster for a faster ps5? I’m very sorry about the length of my questions but I also have a cabin not 30 mins from my home and my cellphone works when it wants but real bad buffering. I can get frustrated with taking any calls because we loose connection so frequently. Do I need to purchase a cell booster first to get a strong enough connection to be able to use devices?

I am admittedly a Rookie but I was hoping to bring this puck to the cabin where I get real bad cell service and be able to get my smart tv playing Netflix for $8 a month? I’m that fool that’s born ever day hey? 🤪

I also just bought a 12 sensor SMART alarm system with key pad. Cost $350 I ask the worker can I use this SMART alarm system and would it work without internet access. I want my alarm to sound off when my windows door garage gets broken into. All I want is that shock factor with out needing internet and you think Best Buy told me the right way? I can’t find the info. They told me yes and just want the alarm to sound when movement is detected that there makes people run when all my cabin neighbors hunt big moose a lot

Solis Skyroam is not suitable for home uses because the cost will be too high (plus you have to buy the device). You can check their plans here: soliswifi.co/collections/wifi-hotspot-plans Cell Phone Signal Booster takes an existing signal from the nearest cell tower and amplifies. So you have to have a good signal outside your home first for this to work inside. If no good signal outside your home or cabin, then most likely it won't work as it has nothing to work with.

It depends on what kind SMART Alarm. Not all alarm systems require the Internet, but without the Internet, you may miss out on some features like remote control, notifications, etc. The best thing to do here is to call the alarm system customer support and ask.

Would I be able to put an Xbox and phones on this at the same time? I feel like it would soak up the data super fast even if I had the unlimited plan

You can connect up to 10 devices, but yes, it means more data.

Yea, but can you configure settings? Like changing the ID and password.

Yes, password can be changed anytime. ID is the email. Not sure if can be changed. But If so, you have reregister and go through the whole process again.

I can't connect to roku device but works for my phone just fine. Any help here would be appreciated

Hard to say what's exactly causing it. Try switching Roku 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz settings. If you still can't connect, you may need to contact Roku support.

i do the same thing and after 10 minutes the signal light becomes red .... anyone knows why and what can i do ?

There are 2 issues I am aware of can cause this. 1. Drained battery, 2. Installing updates.
