Does being able to hear those differences help you mix better? I mean, if I know a reference track is heavily compressed and EQd in a certain way, does that help me mix some other track better??

0:16 That was incredible😂🔥 At all about Ear training. I should say that I like platforms like this that's not hate. As I said before I think it's way more better(sometimes fennier and interesting) to just try every knob little by little in your daw with ur REAL sounds. So imo only thing that u should use is eq games(cuz in games that's a way better). Another thing that in games u get motivation by right or just funny answers that u can't get in the daw... 11:00 This things is just a practice and experience. I think later u'll notice the volume wave by compressor (I was surprised when I'd heard). So another bad side of this platform is u have low range of sounds for training cuz for example leads for chord stacks have really another behavior with compressor then snares or smth else. So I use Ear training app by MediaLife so there u can choose any audio file from your PC(especially interesting are ur references or ur demos). Btw we should remember that trainings are sometimes should change (there's a lot of factors, but I'd say that u can lost ur concentration in routine or just u had enough trainings like this for now or that's just doesn't fits to u and etc.) So if u don't wanna stack at one level u should change ur trainings by changing the platform (site) or try to do the same things in the daw (as I suggested). Btw video was really interesting and funny! Thank u!❤️ ps I wanna cry here a bit cuz Instagram is too slow last time in my region so I can't see any media😰. I hope chats will work cuz at least 70% of my music communication is there..

How are you getting the Stereohead and PanGirl exercises correct in closed back headphones?
