He is local to me . Colchester boy he used to play for the spinniker pub . I played against him and got battered several times. He also was very good mates with my best mate and they used to practice together . I remember once Colin got a few other pro players together to play for the spinniker they turned up at a dart match I can't imagine the look on the oponents face. Wayne marble, Roland sholten , Peter Manley and painter all turned up to play an amateur league game on a Thursday night 😂

Littler and MVG were throwing and obsessed from the moment they were capable of picking up a dart, so idk how much natural ability there can be. Phil Taylor, the GOAT, practiced harder than everyone else, for at least six hours (iirc?) every single day. So there is no substitute for hard work imo

Had lots of good times when Colin was playing at his best, played a bit myself, but to answer the the thumbnail, I,d turn to the missus and say, ur bad luck, you ain't coming next time😂😂😂

@edwardbarton6753 it really isn't. My mate (Robbie king) has played in the PDC World Championship and the Australian Masters (Which had Van Gerwen, Peter Wright, Gerwyn Price, Michael Smith) he told me that everyone drinks backstage to relax settle their nerves. It helps them throw better.

Your choice. I wouldn't have thought that something like the best leg ever or Tops, Tops, Tops by de Sousa could be improved by a commentary - Mardle actually managed it - pure talent!

You bet! This happens when you put a lot of strain on the muscle but don't give it enough protein to regenerate. Jaws has probably supplied the body with other calories ... There's also a good reason why bodybuilders train most muscle groups with a day's rest (abs are an exception, for example): regeneration/muscle building takes place on rest days. However, as there was less money to be made in the past, Lloyd probably played in tournaments or exhibitions or trained almost every day - bad for the muscle!

Former world number one . Would have stayed the number one but changed the ranking system . His A major winner also several massive trophies. Very famous in the darting world
