Part of that was Jose's fault. He never implemented or tried a style that was intense and full of running. We were at the bottom in terms of distance covered and Ole changed that right away which caused injuries because the players were not prepared for that kind of pressing or running.

The defensive errors for example from Shaw and Maguire and the inability to just run and try win a ball has to an intrinsic thing. Pressing up front is a younger, fitter team's game. He's specifically done this with young players at previous clubs, and he has an incredible eye for finding gems in the transfer market

Individual moments isn't a problem, the problem is was, individual moments was Ole and Jose's tactics, nothings wrong with individual quality/moments, the problem for the last 6 years is, because the coaching from both Jose and Ole's era have been outdated, and very basic, with no final 3rd patterns of play incorporated, by both Jose and Ole, (according to reports), when lined up against mid/low block teams, we look lost, when it comes to breaking down the opposition, as I said, there's nothing wrong with individual quality/moments, Klopp has it with T.A.A cross, into the front 3, Pep with the KDB whip, the difference is, individual quality, is a secondary plan, for Pep and Klopp, as the primary plan is already set, and imprinted, under Ole and Jose (generally throughout his career), individual quality seems to be the primary tactics for those managers, as their tactics are fairly basic, so when the individuals don't turn up, because neither Ole or Jose, are hands on coaches, more old-fashioned managers, who aren't as much hands on, Jose had Rui Faria, who was pretty outdated in the modern day, and in Mourinho's final year, he was relaced by Carrick and Mkenna, and it's known, Ole himself said he didn't coach the players, so it was up to Carrick & Mkenna, the same people who were under Jose, and I actually think, Carrick in Mourinho's 2nd year, was probably learning off Rui Faria, as he rarely played in Mourinho's 2nd years, so he was probably picking up the archaic ideas off Rui Faria, and then Jose promoted Carrick, and brought Mkenna from Man Utd youth team, virtually no experience, in the top level, that's what I think was the problem, more than the players
